  • Even here in Australia ..there are many Erma fans.... I have a copies of all her books.. Even though she delighted in lampooning the males - (I'm male).. I just loved her observational humour... Thanks for the Laughs Erma - RIP

  • Yer darn right Erma Bombeck belongs in ANY index of American humor! I shudder to think, now that she's been gone for 12 years, of how many Americans do not know of her.  (Ditto for Jean Kerr and Irene Kampen.)
