hey....i have a family cow ...we too sometimes take the baby away from the mother to take some milk...its fine,....but we leave the calf with the mother once we are done..plus....we have a 2 acre land for the family to roam in..this is HELL

the calves are grown up anyways and they need to get weaned. So its good that they are getting less milk or else they might injure the cows teats.
