I remember picking up UMVC3 and the character I started out with was nemesis. He had big damage easy combos, super armor and health. I dropped him but picked him back up after seeing his advanced stuff and he has really good potential

I LOVE this video. I do have to be a critic about it though. Half way through the video most of these combo's rely on resets..While that may be good its also VERY risky if you do the wrong command grab on a character that has double or even triple jumps.

I started to use Nemesis a few days ago, i only now the BnB combos, he´s such a monster how he looks. A question, it´s about counter attacking, let´s say the fu**ing Vergil, what i can do about him if he´s close? I mean all of them start with under, but then if i try to counterattack, i get killed. Please help me, thanks beforehand ^^

tiger knee S it does a short jump into the nemesis downwards rocket if you hit you can start closing in with jumping down H and once your in you can get a Jumping H into a combo if they keep trying to get either an instant hit on you or a projectile at close range. nemesis isnt like all the other big people in this game he has a rocket and he has tentacles that gain priority at about half screen

@MrBibichis it is indeed a very frustrating matchup. try to stay as cautious as you can, block everything and try to get into your sweet j.dH spot, don't press any button until you're there (no rockets, no max range tentacles etc. you just wasting your time and get hit by random arrows) just keep blocking and normal jumping forward. when you get in there (sweet spot aka mid range) call your assist, go in and good luck breaking hes defense.

@MrBibichis if hes jumping alot try jump forward jM (underestimated & crazy range) into jS or j.fH to bring him down and during your fall, call assist and keep your momentum, try mixing it up with command grab L after the assist hitstun is gone - try delaying your blockstring cL...cM/st.M/st.H (auto guard) frame trap him. and if your feeling yourself just wait for hes next UP BACK, stay on the ground and command grab him with the M version.

I love the fact you are beating down on Virgil, Strider, Wesker. The same team a friend of mine uses, and I hate it so much =P

I use Nemmy, Trish and X23 (to be replaced with Deadpool possibly since my friend's easy mode team is hella cheese). Great Nemesis combo vid/ command throw resets vid, I'm going to learn a lot from it.

Thanks for the vid man! What assists would you recommend for Nemesis? I've been using Hawkeye Quickshot, but your vid convinced me to use the poison arrow instead. I'm also using Sentinel drones since I think Nemesis should keep his opponents grounded. What do you think?

@ShadowoftheDarkgod I personally use a lockdown assist with Nemesis, to help keep pressure when he's making his way in. For example, I use Doom's Plasma Beam assist as it works great for that, but you can also use Hidden Missiles if you like. That and the fact Nemesis's rocket launcher hyper perfectly DHC's into Doom's Sphere Flame right after he does the stomp. Hope this helped. :)

@XebonybootyX i would say Thor. He's simple and can do major damage if used correctly. there's also hulk but i personally prefer Thor :)

@XebonybootyX I wouldn't say Nemesis is simple...his executions are...but using him online can be quite a chore against keepaway and zoning and even against faster characters like Strider. I'd pair him with someone like Deadpool (Also has simple executions) simply for the OTG Katana-rama assists, which allow Nemesis to relaunch a combo. My team consists of Frank West, Nemesis and Deadpool. Frank is my starter because at level 3 he can also benefit from a Deadpool relaunch.

I like the effort and how u showed how to do the tentacle slam resets BUT, remember when bots are reset they fall quicker and dont air recover as high as a normal player does. When a normal player air resets, they are usually holding forward or back and it would cause almost like an air jump but bots just don't hold anything so they just fall straight down... Try figuring out some resets in online matches :) u should be able to do tentacle slam after pressing l after a ground bounce. ;)

@warthogdriver55 real pros don't play online they practice in training mode then hit up the tournaments... most combos don't work online due to millisecond lag or heavy lag. hence people who are combos heavy during in matches play offline at tournaments. these combos do work offline for anyone willing to learn them and take them to the tournament scene.
