@pitgroove what are you saying ....that AIDS cannot be cured? Some people, even Sigmund Freud believed that certain mental patients couldn't be cured and Hyman Spotnitz proved Freud wrong. @paulagloria Yes. We still need to discover a real cure for cancer too. With radiation we can sometimes kill cancer, but it also kills healthy cells. There must be a cure for cancer and one for AIDS too but one that doesn't harm the patient. I'm on board with the idea that there is a cure for every illness. There are many representations of levels of consciousness in these comments. Many bring judgments, paranoia, fear, while some bring some truth and insight.

I don't understand how people can deny that HIV leads to AIDS. We can see the HIV virus being transmitted by body fluids including semen then binding to out cells ( by gp120) and then replicating into a provirus and lying dormant in our cells then reactivating during times of immune stress, this inevitably leads to AIDS in most cases. People that are supporting this are doing serious harm. Also to even suggest that this is somehow due to "brothels" and "prostitutes" is completely ridiculous.
there is n certificate of purified sample for HIV as there is for other viruses. That means no molecular weight nor electron microscope picture as we have of other viruses. Dr Peter Duesberg of UC Berkeley, winner of many high awards calls HIV "one of the thousands of harmless passenger viruses in the blood".

do you know what a certificate of purified sample is? It gives the molecular weight (achieved by spinning in a test tube and determining the exact level of stratification) as well as an electron microscope photograph of the virus. HIV, the supposed "AIDS" virus cannot provide a certificate of purified sample.

I have over 700 up and I don't remember all of them as they were placed over a period of two years. I do remember that he flet AIDS would overtake the world because his teacher, Osho told him so yet I feel Osho was uninformed nor did I feel that this doctor had kept up with the research or the discoveries about the lack of real research (ie HIV has never been isolated nor shown to be sexually transmitted)

Well dude, I'm not a church goer.. however, I think that understanding (aka. breaking down) religions is important, but not necessarilly taking aspects from many religions and making it your own, as osho did. You are taking one center, out of hundreds of meditation centers and subjecting the whole Osho community as a cult. I know Osho Tapoban in Kathmandu Nepal does not have Aids testing.

I agree that stigma is a variable that accounts for poorer health, but the majority of HIV positive people survive because of HAART. life expectancy nearly equals that of noninfected people.

well if AIDS is related to the mind, as Osho points out (not taking any medical authority however), than ofcourse! Maybe not a dynamic approach, but perhaps a "no-mind" benefit from dynamic meditation? If AIDS is a life negative phenomena, than the life positive air of the resort isnt a bad start? Perhaps trying to solve the AIDS dilemma directly won't really be of any help, unless the roots are taken care of first. Well, there is the story of the famous ex-cia agent who got rid of cancer!-haha
Can you imagine how crushed you would feel, if you heard your mother say to your father, when you are very young, "just look at paula and all Her little friends and you can see a good example of everything that is wrong in the world." This interviewer is constantly interrupting. How can a "somnambulist" mind question the pure motives of an enlightened master? If she had done her spiritual research she would see that true tantra is first & foremost about spirituality and working toward enlightenment. Only the sexually-frustrated western mind has made it all about sex. Her comments show she equates workshops on tantra only to sex & promiscuity. This in turn only shows her lack of knowledge about tantra, and Osho's teachings.
ang1269, it is impossible to answer this question, as you ask it: "exactly." It is a life's work in progress. But through my studies, his theme echoes those of many great masters before him, such as Patanjali, Gautham Buddha, etc: becoming observer of one's ego behaviors & finally transcending them, being here & now, nonjudgement, dropping all desires, unconditional love for all existence. All "req'd work" along this difficult path to enlightenment. Osho's teachings focus on all of these.
Check out Book of secrets by osho. If you read enough from that book I don't think you would be able to ask of his "teachings exactly" But he does speak about enlightened masters what they have in common and what they can teach us.
The cause of Osho's death is tackled best by author Luke Mitchell's book, Mind Bomb, and the controversy that surrounded his death is described perfectly in a very concise style. Luke Mitchell's You Tube Vid is very funny also.
@unnst: I was a little haggard traveling around India but when I came back I avoided the surgeon where I could have eventually had perfect breasts...yet today they are pretty good on their own

Osho was arrested by the CIA, and it was quite clear to some that he'd been poisoned with thalium by the symptoms he manifested. BTW, he predicted nine months before his death that he'd die in exactly nine months. You find examples of this in mount Athos in Greece. The monk there are wise.
What this man or anyother person want to say, is fine but it is not Osho words, lets be honest, many things that happened since Osho passed away, things become obsolete so fast. I find Rajneshes a kind of discriminatory with hiv positive people.
Are you kidding? If you want to go to their wellness palace in Poona, you have to do a hiv test on the spot. If you tested positive, you wouldn't be allowed to enter the premises. How much more discriminatory could it get?
@ michabln gotcha...I took that stupid test but what really infuriates me is if I tested positive (generally a 15% chance even if you had no sex or transfusion) I would have been kicked out of India...if I had a child I could not breastfeed it by "LAW"....I had hope this organization would have been more enlightened than just going along with a totalitarian system
Also, this scandalous idea of an "AIDS-free zone" is actually quite dangerous, keeping people in a wrong sense of security: As you may know, people are most contagious in the first weeks of an HIV infection - and at that stage, the test would still show a person as being negative (so they would be allowed in). It takes 3 weeks to 3 months for the test to actually catch an infection with HIV.
The idea to exclude HIV+ people from a "spiritual resort" is despicable and shameful.

it is not as simplistic as osho says. Aversion does not take away craving, but neither does indulgance. People in the west have sex all the time and they still are not blissful. In fact sex is the only point where regular people have a glimpse of the beyond...and soon it becomes the focal point of their life.
You cannot cure an alcoholic by making him indulge in alcohol...and same holds true for sexuality.

would it be possible to get inside a lab where they photograph viruses so that we could see the process of isolating and verifying hiv in hopes of helping scientists find a cure?
Additionally, this interview has been very poorly done as very obviously no time was been taken before the interview from PaulaG to first understand the "culture", "knowledge," and "vocabulary" of Osho and his community. One can not come to an interview with prejudices and fears and expect an unveiling of Truth to be produced -- you will only unveil your incompetence and weakness in the matters you are "investigating".
The primary error in this interview is PaulaG's inability and defiance to truly investigate the subtly that Dr. A was trying to convey from Osho's talks on sex, AIDS, and superconsciousness. its not to say the disease isnt real,but there has to be exploitation at work here too,the real issues are always avoided by focusing on what you wear or what you look like etc,peple have have very narrow view of aids because it scares them shitless and gives them good grounds to judge people with the disease,all factors must be look at with something like this,its easily to throw smart comments!

We DO see the D&G logo. Unless you look at your own video, you won't see the logo. You have a choice to wear a corporate logo or not. Just be sensitive enough to remember that thousands of people will see your video. What you choose for them to see ends up as part of your message. Nike, D&G, Starbucks, McDonalds... I don't understand how people can deny that HIV leads to AIDS. We can see the HIV virus being transmitted by body fluids including semen then binding to out cells ( by gp120) and then replicating into a provirus and lying dormant in our cells then reactivating during times of immune stress, this inevitably leads to AIDS in most cases. People that are supporting this are doing serious harm. Also to even suggest that this is somehow due to "brothels" and "prostitutes" is completely ridiculous.

there is n certificate of purified sample for HIV as there is for other viruses. That means no molecular weight nor electron microscope picture as we have of other viruses. Dr Peter Duesberg of UC Berkeley, winner of many high awards calls HIV "one of the thousands of harmless passenger viruses in the blood".

to tell you the truth I do not think I look that good here...I was haggard from a lot of travel in India. You should see in "search of the miraculous" which I shot in New Delhi a few years later. I was very sick but pulled it together and got a camera man. I felt like I was lifted up despite weeks of diarrhea and somehow seemed to be able to float across the mosque (editing took out a lot but you can see how thin I was):

do you know what a certificate of purified sample is? It gives the molecular weight (achieved by spinning in a test tube and determining the exact level of stratification) as well as an electron microscope photograph of the virus. HIV, the supposed "AIDS" virus cannot provide a certificate of purified sample.

I have over 700 up and I don't remember all of them as they were placed over a period of two years. I do remember that he flet AIDS would overtake the world because his teacher, Osho told him so yet I feel Osho was uninformed nor did I feel that this doctor had kept up with the research or the discoveries about the lack of real research (ie HIV has never been isolated nor shown to be sexually transmitted)

Well dude, I'm not a church goer.. however, I think that understanding (aka. breaking down) religions is important, but not necessarilly taking aspects from many religions and making it your own, as osho did. The problem is that the osho method teaches a kind of hippie/hedonistic lifestyle that he stole from a variety of religions.. it didn't require any great effort on his part to do either.. they get taught perhaps an artificial meditation or technique that is inherent in another ideology.

in fact, there are people who can live decades with the virus. maybe the reason the people you pretend to know survive is because the are so-called LTNP or elite controllers.
I agree that stigma is a variable that accounts for poorer health, but the majority of HIV positive people survive because of HAART. life expectancy nearly equals that of noninfected people.

This interviewer is constantly interrupting. How can a "somnambulist" mind question the pure motives of an enlightened master? If she had done her spiritual research she would see that true tantra is first & foremost about spirituality and working toward enlightenment. ang1269, it is impossible to answer this question, as you ask it: "exactly." It is a life's work in progress. But through my studies, his theme echoes those of many great masters before him, such as Patanjali, Gautham Buddha, etc: becoming observer of one's ego behaviors & finally transcending them, being here & now, nonjudgement, dropping all desires, unconditional love for all existence. All "req'd work" along this difficult path to enlightenment. Osho's teachings focus on all of these.

Are you kidding? If you want to go to their wellness palace in Poona, you have to do a hiv test on the spot. If you tested positive, you wouldn't be allowed to enter the premises. How much more discriminatory could it get?

@ michabln gotcha...I took that stupid test but what really infuriates me is if I tested positive (generally a 15% chance even if you had no sex or transfusion) I would have been kicked out of India...if I had a child I could not breastfeed it by "LAW"....I had hope this organization would have been more enlightened than just going along with a totalitarian system

Also, this scandalous idea of an "AIDS-free zone" is actually quite dangerous, keeping people in a wrong sense of security: As you may know, people are most contagious in the first weeks of an HIV infection - and at that stage, the test would still show a person as being negative (so they would be allowed in). It takes 3 weeks to 3 months for the test to actually catch an infection with HIV.
The idea to exclude HIV+ people from a "spiritual resort" is despicable and shameful.

it is not as simplistic as osho says. Aversion does not take away craving, but neither does indulgance. People in the west have sex all the time and they still are not blissful. In fact sex is the only point where regular people have a glimpse of the beyond...and soon it becomes the focal point of their life.
You cannot cure an alcoholic by making him indulge in alcohol...and same holds true for sexuality.

Additionally, this interview has been very poorly done as very obviously no time was been taken before the interview from PaulaG to first understand the "culture", "knowledge," and "vocabulary" of Osho and his community. One can not come to an interview with prejudices and fears and expect an unveiling of Truth to be produced -- you will only unveil your incompetence and weakness in the matters you are "investigating".

The primary error in this interview is PaulaG's inability and defiance to truly investigate the subtly that Dr. A was trying to convey from Osho's talks on sex, AIDS, and superconsciousness. The relationships we have to sex, AIDS, and superconsciousness are such that merely approaching a subject for its superficial content leads to gross misunderstandings and bizarre and detrimental conclusions which are pepper throughout this interview from beginning to end.

What a clear understanding from Dr. Andrews. Perhaps its Osho who had the clarity. Anyways very nice to see intelligent people who are able to hold their space. The lady seems off-the-mark with concluding "Marraige could be a cause of AIDS!". You could clearly see he wasnt dumbing down the issue and calling it that. Cmon Paula, your audience is intelligent, you dont have to dumb the conclusion!

its not to say the disease isnt real,but there has to be exploitation at work here too,the real issues are always avoided by focusing on what you wear or what you look like etc,peple have have very narrow view of aids because it scares them shitless and gives them good grounds to judge people with the disease,all factors must be look at with something like this,its easily to throw smart comments!

Dean Loren (see "Son of a Biowarfare Scientist") who is a fellow MNN public access TV producer who feels that there WAS virus developed. HIV may be a scam but there is something else too. I would like to have a serious conference but so far Michael and Dean, both of whom I admire aren't on the same page even to sit down at the same table. thx for comments!

Oh, we are quite aware of the HIV scam. We were mentioning the choice of logo clothing. Whether it was $5 in Thailand, $200 in NYC or 50 cents at a yard sale, it would have been more appropriate to wear something without the D&G logo, that's what we are saying. Keep flowing.

this was made many years ago, I bet it is almost 10 yrs old now....I just did another show with that dress which I am very fond of and never noticed the logo...why not use Nonviolent communication to work with the corporations? did you see my vids on NVC & corporations w/ Marshall Rosenberg. Do you think it is hopeless?

We DO see the D&G logo. Unless you look at your own video, you won't see the logo. You have a choice to wear a corporate logo or not. Just be sensitive enough to remember that thousands of people will see your video. What you choose for them to see ends up as part of your message. Nike, D&G, Starbucks, McDonalds... What says you to you?
