HEY DUDE! I have a question for you, why when someone have dreads, their hair gets a lighter color, I mean your hair is blonde right now! why does that happen???
My dreads are made with crochet hook and they get completely worn after a short period. Mine is veeery worn and the tips are just regular hair, and there are hair sticking out a lot and everywhere. What should i do? Should i use wax og just let them grow as they want? Would they afterwords get as fine as yours? :)
my hair is about as long as urs but iv only had my dreads for almost 2 months, they are locking up pretty nice but i just want to know if u ever re-backcombed them during the first 1-3 months? sometimes i rebackcomb mine and then wrap them in thread lol a few days later when the thread gets loose, i take it off and they are a lil more tighter, and i just discovered the crochet hood yesterday....is it ok do rebackcomb and crochet periodically while they are still not completely mature?
@swankysafe have you thought about synthetic dreads? if you make them yourself by buyingthe special hair they work out really cheap and you can get tem in alot of colours...you can go for bright colours (my last set were pink aqua and purple with black) or you can have natural looking ones....there are some good tutorials online mentalshiver's vids tell you what hair to get ect ect and how to make the dreads.
Thanks for taking time to answer questions - it helps a lot of people. my sections are similar size and was worried that they were too big - but it's good to see that once mine are longer they're gonna look good.
@NedTheDread That's pretty legit. You're really planning this out, man! Very nice. I always feel like some of the ideas/questions I try to answer are a bit rushed, too. I know the general feeling. When did you hit your two-year mark, man?
As always, lookin' fancy. And the blond tips/areas are still looking Pretty! sweet!.

@swankysafe
From what I've seen, it seems like the crotchet hook method has the best looking dreads right off the bat... Then probably back-combing.

Next time, I'm going to make separate videos for the general questions, it'll be much more search friendly for the people looking for the answers.
