Can you lend any insight on how to lead the part from 0:13 - 0:17? The one time I tried it socially, I had to let go and basically abort the turn, haha.
(also make sure that on the enchufala part the girl has enough space below your elbow to go under your arm).
If you want to, you can film yourself trying the variation, and contact the guy running media coacher (youtube.com/user/mediacoacher) so he will link to it.
Me and other guys can give you specific comments (on technique, style or whatever) through that project, and maybe even film something that will help you.
@medianochesalsa Ok, great. Upon closer look at the clip, I think there's a lot of hand rotation for this one, i.e., the follower's right hand is swiveling within the leader's left hand as she completes her enchufla and goes under the leader's arm.
I'm pretty busy this weekend, but will try to film it and get it to you as soon as I can. Thanks
There might have been such influences at the time, but looking at the dile que no at the end of the first time and the one that flips sides, both look dile que no with no "side to side" effects of CBL. Maybe you relate to Dile que no characteristics I'm not aware of. Could you elaborate?
I understand. El Duque loco was super cool too!! You may be poor as students, but you are rich as dancers. Keep doing what you're doing as it is quite enjoyable. When I show my friends in our local rueda group they're not going to believe it. We'll have to put some of our original moves on Youtube so that you can check them out.
THis is the dopest move that I have ever seen, and it should be known that I watch way too much videos on youtube. When are you coming to Seattle guys???

@CenterOpposite it's an "Enchufala con vuelta".

Thanks, glad you like it (have you checked the "el duque loco" clip? You might like it more).
We would love to come to Seattle, but since we're poor students, it seems like it won't happen any time soon.
Sorrowfully, Flying Tickets cost more than we can afford.

More to come, soon (till we film all of the 594 variations we know about).
