The only thing going for History of Violence was the use of realistic looking gore. It seemed like when the director ran out of ideas, he would insist on another sex scene. There were so many random sex scenes that I thought I was watching "The Room" all over again.

what the hell? All of these movies are "trades" not graphic novels!! A trade is a bunch of single comic book issues from either a short or ongoing series that are put together into one book. I have every single issue of Watchmen and Kick ASS. Every new comic book being published ends up getting put into trade form eventually these days. It's cheaper and there's usually extras of some sort (think DVD xtras) So basically they just did another top 10 comic books made into movies list.
