I think it's the editing that makes it appear as though the fan was a ghost ninja appearing in the air. At 0:14 MJ is facing the back of the lift toward the stage. When the ghost ninja comes out of nowhere as if from the air at 0:16 MJ is facing the front of the lift.

Well, for starters, as the fan climbed onto the platform? and most importantly, it ruined the show MJ and stole CAMERA TO MJ, that has to be illegal, and secondly MJ was very sweet, not released for any reason, and kept him off the platform looked somewhat concerned about the fan YOU ARE THE BEST MJ!!!!
