You are right. The Avebury complex is something related with energy.The stone circle,Long Barrow and The pyramid of Silbury Hill are part of a complex that we cannot understand today.I think that key is at the crop circle of June 20/2004.Have a great day

"We do know what the Long Barrow was used for..." No you don't. There's no way on earth that the Long Barrow was for burial purposes. One of the two main ley lines that runes thru the Avebury complex runs right down the centre of the barrow and, I believe, is charged at certain times of the year by the rising sun.

Another interesting point about Avebury is that there are masses of smaller originally white mounds around the place that probably represented stars when they were built.

Even if your right; why wouldnt they be for burial? The builders could have been using the "energy" you speak of to get thier loved ones to where they wanted them to be. There are other barrows and they are not all built on lay-lines.

Ickes right about the road through Avebury, a horse and cart was one thing but todays car is another, and the traffic through that winding road is terrible, if it is a special place in Earths well being, and having been their many times i think it is, allowing cars to possibly dilute the energy of the ring as they constantly enter and leave in the metallic electric vehicles cant help things.

@permaveg Hi and thanks for comment. Fortunately the power of Avebury is not lost 100%. I had a vision and went there 10000 years ago when the circle was in its apogee of operation and that was amazing. Look for crop circle from 04/05/98 next to Silbury Hill.That ring is what they are still sharing thru Avebury

Yeah, well I can't believe anything in this video because of one simple fact. They got no evidence! No proof, no scientifically testing that verify anything they have stated. If anything like this had been discovered, it would revolutionize many scientific theories. Surprises me then that no/not many scientists seems eager to research these rocks.

Hi thanks for your comment. On the islet of Er Lannic, 500m (0.3mi) south of Gavrinis, there are two stone circles, both made of some 60 stones. They are now half submerged by the waters of the Gulf of Morbihan, but in prehistoric times they stood on the mainland.

Only the northern circle can be seen, the southern one being entirely submerged. Er Lannic is now a Bird Reserve and cannot be visited, so the northern stone circle is visible only from the air or by boat (the boat to Gavrinis passes nearby: Don't forget your binoculars for a good view). This circle, half submerged, is 65m (213ft) in diameter and its stones are 2 to 5.4m (6.5 to 17.7ft) high.

The site was excavated in the 20s by Zacharie Le Rouzic, who calculated that Er Lannic had been erected about 5000 years ago. He found around each stone a cist containing charcoal, animal bones, worked flints, pottery, and a lot of polished axes. Two stones are carved with axes and a yoke, and one of the uprights' packing stones has nine cupmarks (according to Le Rouzic, arranged to form the outline of the constellation Ursa Major
