@icurcuwl one reason you would know that is because haste is kind of useless, because of Icy Talons/improved Icy talon, and crit is canceled out because of killing machine, which guarantees a crit on you 2 main attacks, so crit is not very important, personally i make crit and haste hit/expertise if not capped, and if i am capped then i make it to mastery

I always have trouble in heroics trying to dps when targets must be CC'd and Pestilence breaks them :(

so.. im pulling 13k dps on a training dummy. with full heroic gear. 2 346 weapons, with normal right eye or rahj, and heroic heart of solace.... is that good dps to be pulling because by the next patch i will have 2 epic trinkets nad be purchasing 2 soublades?

wait till 4.0.6 - i have to test what does more dps because they want to buff frost 2h by 13%. the dps are fine, but spending like 50.000 gold now is sensless :p

I personally safe KM for obiliterate. At 85 lvl it does same amount dmg on normal hit that frost strike crits. And obi crits are 15-20k higher that frost strike crits so u do 5-10k more dmg there.

yea, but if you have Obliterate on CD like 5 seconds, will you wait or do a Froststrike with KM... and sometimes you get the proc when you actually pressed the button already ^^ ofcourse you use OB > FS

This is prolly a totally noob question but hey, I haven't played in a long time, but what does the reforging mean? only thing i can think of is when a DK runeforges a weapon but i don't see any forges adding hit rating or expertise, so am I looking at the wrong thing?

because of parry/haste ... thats a principe on bosses... parry haste dmg will occure much oftener with dualwield then with 2h... so you would get more dmg as dualwield from theory.

@mbXtremeLive Actually an extremely old and outdated view point. It has long been proven to be false. Also only some (and very few at that) bosses had this mechanic. Still...no need to worry about DW tanking anymore as you can't take Threat of Thassarian.

27% is melee hit cap (white hits) - spell hit cap is 17%.. decreased by virulence = 14%... if you have a shadow in your grp or moonkin = 11% .... but you dont have to aim for spell hitcap :)

there stands HIT > Expertise > Strength > Mastery > Haste > HIT

that means that you should get 8% hit cap, 26 expertise (or 22 since patch) then red gems strength (because strength > all) then reforge crit into mastery and thats it? blut is str/hit

yes, but you dont aim for 27% to get 0,00% miss on auto hits - the cap for styles (obliterate,...) is 8%.

Wrathful Gladiator Axes (Mainhand + Offhand 2.6 speed) - you need 2200+ in 3v3 or 5v5 to buy em -> atm you only can buy the lower ones (you can buy the better ones aswell but only if you got the 2200+ at the end of the season) ^^

well... you know that there are items wich only can be bought at high arena ratings (2200 for the T2 weapon, 2050 for Shoulders, 2300 Tabard,...) - when the season ends, you loose all your teams, but you still can buy the new items if you had those ratings BEFORE your teams got removed by season ending.

the weapon with more max dmg in mainhand. you should try to get 2x slow weapon, not a fast one. take frost giants cleaver in the mainhand for now, and try to get a 2nd one... or you get the t1 pvp weapons ;)

to be honest... this spec will rock in cataclysm, frost DW is played in frost presence, so normal global cooldown (like 3.3.5) - the pure haste spec is frost 2h or unholy.

They are different int he gameplay and stat weights... my opinion: Frost 2h is the hardest spec to play but also the best one.

(i didn't raid with frost 2h so far, but just my opinion with ultimate AOE and best Single Target. i might change my opinion after some raids but thats just for now ^^)
