  • Just wondering out loud. Do you happen to have the Thick as a Brick song

from this concert and can post it ? Best version I`ve heard of it. Thanks....

  • Most underrated Jethro Tull song

  • still going after 40+ years,

  • I phuck my bass to this song every night.

  • stones, the who, tull and lennon! what a gig and some of the best performances on tape. buy the frakin dvd as is too good.

  • I've always wondered why all the rest of the bands were live except Jethro Tull

  • menos mal que mi viejo lo compro!

  • yo tengo ese disco, está zarpado

  • The lineup here was actually with Tony Iommi (later Black Sabbath) ,who left the group after some weeks because the music was to weired for him,LOL,They really captured some of the rock`n roll`s weirdest (but cool) moments here,

the rest: Clive Bunker on drums,Glenn Cornick on bass,Ian Anderson on vocal..Awesome song anyway ! :)

  • @toxicpizza72 Iommi and the whole band mimed so Tony didn't capture anything.it's Mick Abrahams playing guitar here as this recording is the 'this was' line up.

  • justin bieber disliked this song.

  • Oh that Clive Bunker... They don't make 'em like him anymore...

  • @MrHeitz17 Yes, he was great, one of my all time favorite drummers.

  • The only performance of this I have seen is on the Jethro tull at the isle of wight festival 1970

  • tony iommi of black sabbath playin in this group before sabbath

  • This aint the live video

  • @gabrielrocks69 Thanks for telling me this isnt the live video as im just staring at an album cover. lol.

  • song is so great, it's stolen by this cheap bitch called "Adele - Rolling in the deep", look her up, and poop on her face.

  • double cool

  • This proves what a versatile guitarist Tony Iommi was. What happened to music?

  • THIS - is the definitive version of this song!

  • ДЖЕФРИ НУЖНО ВИДЕТЬ!

  • i want the video,fucker

  • es buenaaaa

  • if i buy the dvd will it show them playing it?

  • @ryler99 Yes. Its amazing. The Who´s performance is phenomenal. They play "A Quick One While He´s Away".

  • @ryler99 if you go on dailymotion com you can watch it. Youtube sucks sometimes and its definately a performance worth seeing!

  • @ryler99 Yes. Buy it. It's sick!

  • Musica sofisticada pero muy bien hecha en esos años fue muy bienvenida

  • TONY IOMMI!!!

  • And the drummer!

  • I really liked watching the bass player in the video. Tull was great! It was a great video!

  • Tull was the only band using backing track although vocak was live. Producers were between two new bands Tull and Zep , but Zep was too "guitary" and there was already a hard rock band called The Who. Tull was the happy one but Mick Abrahams had just left and Tommy Iommy wasn`t adequate enough. So they imitated playing.

  • This was just 6 months before Tony Iommi left Tull and started Earth, which we all know became the mighty Sabbath. Great post.

  • This movie was not released to the public for years. It was said that Jagger was really jealous of this set by Tull.

  • @davidallenrost Close, but not quite. It was actually The Who's set on A Quick One...that inhibited the release of the video. The Who just came off a tour of North America, Australia, and New Zealand in the same year of '68 when this was recorded, so they were ready.

The Rolling Stones not so much, they started their set well past 2 am, and in the end were "dissatisfied" "weary". Since when does that happen It's obvious that The Who just - what many consider - played one the best live shows eve!

  • Esta canción me recuerda tanto a mi papá XD jajajajaaajja

  • Don't you see you see where I'm going don't you see you c where I am going don't you c u c where Im' going toooooooo.......I don't want toooooooo............

  • #LoQueSeEscuchaUnLunes vía @SrCendales

  • does anyone know what key this is in??

  • @StevenMovieMaker7 in the Jethrorian key :P

  • @StevenMovieMaker7 key of G

  • @pancakekiller91 thankyouuu :)

  • Iommi on guitars

  • my favourite song to just lose all control to and to dance to =)

  • Cancion dedicada a Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond (tecladista), amigo de la infancia de Ian Anderson. (Jethro Tull fue verdaderamente un inventor y agronomo ingles)

  • @UKRod so you never understood their appeal? Let's see...

1.) Incredibly creative and meaningful lyrics

2.) Frontman's voice is unlike anything you've ever heard

3.) Dynamic group- experiments with a variety of musical genres

4.) Very talented musicians over the years- Anderson's flute, Barre's guitar, Barlow's drums

    5.) Great live performers!

  • this is great stuff. not heard many other stuff jefro tull av done

  • I just watched the whole circus again! It's so awesome Highly Recommended!

  • @Jeffery102086 Is the whole circus on video that can be purchased? I'm just sad that the one video was pulled so I'm trying to find a way to get it. If you would please let me know It'd be much appreciated,

  • @Jeffery102086 except for yoko ono. that bitch can die

  • ht tp://st ag evu.com /video /yrsidhoqcgvm just take the spaces out

  • outta youtube you can find the entire rock and roll circus..

  • hole wrote this song

  • Links may be restricted here? But anyways, putting "jethro tull rock and roll circus 1968 video" on google gives you the video.

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN Ya, I've seen it. It's a really great recording of this song :)

  • I'm Very sorry, ..that my video clip which you are looking for..in no longer time the clip has been inactivated by youtube authority...in accordance with complaining by third party..

  • @dedes61 It seems as though all the songs I like the most are being taken off of youtube and this was one of them. By any chance do you know how I can purchase the video with this song on it and where? Thank you.

  • @dedes61 I'm not sure but the reason that this fabulous performance is no longer viewable is because the Stones were blown away by the support acts so Mr.Jagger and Mr.Richards put a block on it.Same as when they nabbed the royalties from Bitter sweet symphony by the Verve. What a shame Bo Diddley didn't sue them for ripping him off left right and centre.

  • I'm kinda hoping that some day before I fucking die, I'll see the clip of Tull performing this song with Tony Iommi. It's eluded me for almost 4 decades. Here it is, but of course, there's no fucking video. Cannot find it with an actual video anywhere on YouTube. Has anyone out there seen it?

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN Stagevu.com

  • @Jeffery102086 , Thank you very much!!! (-8

  • Yeah, back when Black Sabbath was still working under the band name Earth, Iommi left and joined up with Ian Anderson and the boys for a short while. Tony credits Ian with teaching him to treat being in a band like a real job (get up early, hit the studio, rehearse all day, do it again the next day, etc...)...........

  • Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath fame is on guitar here. He was in Jethro Tull for a few weeks in the late '60's........

  • @slappy2X I didn't know that!

  • ppl complaining about lipsyncing? just check out some of the live performances, not all are overdubbed or lip synced

  • does anyone know the lyrics to this song? i can't find them anywhere...

  • @kttydchss They're all over the net...

  • Can u pls put up the video from the dvd its so much better with the video, from the first act.

  • @UserNamei5 I have a right to my opinion so I won't shut the fuck up. Tull is still a third rate band in my opinion and I will say it if I fucking well want to. That's called commenting in a public forum, which is what YT encourages.

  • Hey Rod. why dont you do some research before you write such crap!!

3rd rate bands dont tend to last 40 years (and still counting)

    what a cock!!

  • @blazingapostle123 I have a right to my opinion, and my opinion is that Tull are a third rate band. If that upsets you that's not my problem. I still, however, have a right to my opinion. Tull mimed on the R and R circus and that's the mark of a third rate band, in my opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • @UKRod if you think that the fact that they lip synced on R n R Circus is a cause for them being a third rate band, we better put The Rolling Stones, Taj Mahal, The Who and everyone else that was apart of that film on that list because they all did that for the making of the film. If you have seen the film you would even notice at times the lead guitar player isnt even plugged in

But I stick my tongue out at you because Jethro Tull rocks, maybe put up your art form, and we can see what you do :)

  • @UKRod Yeah you're entitled to your opinion, that's exactly what I like about the internet. I get to watch people make idiots of themselves. Tull is world-renowned (for 40 years now) as being one of the best live acts.

  • fuck off rod

  • @joiganja No, you fuck off.

  • @UKRod the who were shit, apart from kieth and ox

  • @joiganja In my opinion, the Who were a highlight of the show, and they played an excellent set.

  • @UKRod i was trying to wind you up.

  • @joiganja ok, well you succeeded! LOL

  • @UKRod

sok wae lah kainyah parasea...lagu2 anu urang..

  • @dedes61 that's an interesting comment. What does it mean?

  • Ha! Jethro Tull, the only performers to MIME on the Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. They were scared to perform live and show themselves up for the 3rd rate band they really were. Never understood their appeal, especially the stork with the flute balancing on one leg at the front.

  • @UKRod obviously you have the right to your opinion, but everyone is just saying your opinion is stupid and invalid. Nobody said anything about you not having a right to say what you want, we are just simply dis-agreeing (which is our right as well.) Now go listen to some garbage euro trash band in your moms basement.

  • You can convert thiss or any youtube video to an mp3 at ezmp3grab..com

  • THIS

  • WHAT VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Featuring one Anthony Frank (Toni) Iommi on guitar!

  • who crushed the video for this performance? Used to be here, what a shamed.

  • @chiefmech23 yea
