Something worth pointing out is that the foreign cat here says "meow" at around 0:41. That's a very nice detail because in Japanese culture, the noise cats make is "nya".

According to Mr. Google, the common phrase is "things have come to a pretty pass". Buchi's line sounds like that if you listen for it, but without knowing the phrase beforehand it does sound like "freely".
