Something worth pointing out is that the foreign cat here says "meow" at around 0:41. That's a very nice detail because in Japanese culture, the noise cats make is "nya".
@ErnulaCuilan Sigh. What I was saying was that the fact that the foreign cat says "meow" instead of "nya" is a nice detail because that makes the foreign cat more foreign.
This is even funnier when you read the English cat's Japanese subtitles.
I'd love to know who translated the Japanese line "This has become a troubling/unfortunate situation" into "Things have come to freely pass" This made my day.
Also does anyone else think that cat-Japanese is the cutest thing you've ever heard?
According to Mr. Google, the common phrase is "things have come to a pretty pass". Buchi's line sounds like that if you listen for it, but without knowing the phrase beforehand it does sound like "freely".
That... was actually pretty racist.

Later the Japanese cat just starts screaming tongue twisters until the English-speaking cat recognizes a word.

@ercasseholly I think they were trying to say "things have gotten really bad", which if you think about it, sounds quite similar.
