I like how the video seems to be about the makings of a hero. I thought more like he's marked as a hero by the gods, and he's not driven by the machismo of the other racers, and just like you said, doesn't care so much about outward appraisal. In the end, though, he's clearly the chosen one, and sacrifices a part of himself to be who he was meant to be, and his greatness is remembered forever. Great video!
