  • australis powder is so much better then the mac powder, australis color range may only have 3 shades, but they all blend to your skin, thats why they do it :),

  • @taniishajade I dunno if I agree actually. I can wear the powder most of the year, but during winter when i'm at my palest, the colour won't blend into my skin. Since it's a full coverage powder, the colour difference is quite obvious. Plus all 3 shades are quite beige/neutral toned, so they wouldn't suit pale people with very pink or very yellow undertones. Thats why MAC has such an extensive colour range :)

  • I LOVED Australia powder beyond belief I have gone through 5 of them not even joking.

Unfortunately I just realized it breaks me out like CRAZY!! I'm talking big red painful spots!

    Not pretty!

    definatly do NOT reccomend this!!!

I also have normal to dry skin

  • @lilpandaXD That sucks it breaks you out :( I have the same issue with MAC Studo Fix Fluid foundation actually, great product but it makes me break out like crazy.

  • wow this is great to know! thanks for sharing. but how can I buy it? I live in california USA do you know a website where i can buy it from and be shipped my way? would highly appreciate it please and thank you

  • @mamansexy00 Sorry but I believe it's only available in Australia. I made this video for my fellow Aussies since Studio Fix powder is $45, compared to just $26.50 you guys pay in the US lol :)

  • can you apply this wet?

  • @fanTASHtic26 Some cities have MAC stores and some have counters in Myer or David Jones. You'll have to check the official website for locations :) x

  • i found that australis ages agoo when not many people knew about that brand , now whenever i try to buy that powder there all gone ! in like every shop, people must be catching on :@ hahaa

  • Im in love with all australis products!!

  • i've been using the fresh and flawless for some time now and i really LOVE it and i watched this video and got happy that someone else loves the same thing too :) i subbed just cuz ur awesome

  • tank u so much for this review, i gonna get the australis powder instead of the mac one :)

  • What shade is yours in? i cant decide which shade to get and you look about the same as me.

    thanks!

  • @wambamthankyouclam I'm nc15 in M.A.C and the lightest shade in Australis. The Australis is a bit darker and a better match for me at the moment :)

  • priceline are having a 20% off australis sale now guys! just got myself one today :D

  • @TheSharonFX Thanks for letting us know! :D

  • @emeleelouise Yeah it's a shame they haven't made more shades so more people can try it out!

  • thanks :) do u try anything from Inglot there power is quite good too!! :D

  • @luckyyou8888 I have some Inglot blushes and eyeshadows that I love :D Haven't tried their powder yet though!

  • @xoFemmeBeauty love Inglot eyeshadow and blushes ... i love there cream blushes too!!

  • great review.especially for people in australia coz we can't afford mac.

  • @azaysann Thanks :)

  • thanks for the review! i'll try it out :)

  • @whittersfizz Thanks! Let me know how it works for you :)

  • Great video! I'm a Studio Fix girl from way back (usually for my Winter skin) and this really piqued my interest. I don't know if Australis will match my skin tone, but I'll try!

  • @tehshaybear Yeah it's definitely worth a try, let me know how it works for you :)

  • wow can't believe you found no difference.

are these powders ever worn on their own? I wonder if there would be a difference between the 2 then? $49 is ridiculous - we get gouged for MAC (all cosmetics really), so unfair :(

  • @yvettemadelaine Yeah the powders can be worn on their own but I find that since I have problem skin the powder "sinks" into my pores and makes them more visible :/ Apart from that they look ok though, a bit powdery, but they both last the same so it's still worth just getting the Australis. It might work differently on other people though, this was just my experience :)

  • Thanks soo much i hav been questioning the mac powder for ever now i am totally getting the australias one at my kmart !! x

  • @missbeeuty26 No problem! Gotta love saving money haha :D

  • that packaging is crazy similar

  • @Eedama96 Yeah very similar!

  • Great review, doll! I have that M.A.C powder, and although I think it's good quality, it's not spectacular! Thanks for sharing, i'm gonna give the australis powder a go. Have you tried "ready set go" by australis? it's a translucent powder, just wondering your thoughts! :)

  • @aleesang Yes I have the translucent powder but I haven't used it in so long! It was requested by someone that I review it so I'm going to be trying it out again this week and do a review of it :) I remember I never liked the finish of it but this morning I tried it for the first time with my stipping brush and I actually like how it sits on my skin now. I swear my stippling brush is a miracle worker haha :P

  • Great review honey!! M.A.C is soooooo over-rated. I am going to try this powder. Thanks for the video!

  • @LaurenDayMakeup Thanks! I love M.A.C but it's definitely over-rated and overpriced! (in Aus lol)

  • Great review hun :)

  • @AussieMumofCrazyTown Thank you :D

  • Can do you review of the australis ready set go finishing powder ! :)

  • @Taannyy21 Yes I can :D

  • @xoFemmeBeauty wooo cant wait ! upload it asap ! :)

  • @Taannyy21 It should be up in around 1 week :) I haven't used it in ages so I wanna test it again this week so I can give a proper review ;)

  • you've just saved me $49 haha :)

  • @muchosbunny Haha ;)

  • @3SugarPlums Yeah I will probably always use it too! :)

  • Great Review,I also have the Australis powder its one of my go to every day powders....Thanks for sharing was very helpful

  • @ozy45a Thank you :)

  • thanks for saving me a LOT of money! ive been considering buying studio fix powder for ages but i cant justify $49 on a pressed powder.

  • @illestwifey You're welcome! Agreed, $49 on a powder is just ridiculous.

  • MAC is so expenisve in Australia!!! Very nice comparison btw :)

    ~ Alex xx ♥

  • @makeupfreakxox Yeah way too expensive. Luckily got mine in the UK, you guys have it cheaper ;) (well not exactly cheap... but better than here lol)
