@areaardon mac's OP (operating system) allows them to be virus free becuz macs arent as popular as a pc OP, so ppl have made viruses for PC but not macs. So if more and more ppl choose macs over pc sooner or later there will be viruses for it

Isn't this the old macbook model? I believe Apple launced the new model back in November 09, unibodied = no screws (like mbp) with the same specification (exept 250GB HDD, MBP just has 160GB). So what about making a new additional video when the new MBP comes out? -Hopefully pretty soon, fingers crossed!!...!!!

I have the white one and its great, but i am slightly worried about the cracking. But i have a 12 month warranty from the store so if i see any signs of cracking i will take it back and put the rest of the cash towards getting the pro :-) Plus i only paid £700 for this and the pro was £1100, thats a massive difference considering they are basically the same. Lets hope i don't see any cracks :-s lol .... thanks for the video it help a lot.. p.s i do miss the extra gestures you get with the pro

i traded my macpro 13'' for the new white one so icould get 200 dollars back, and i love it. It actually doesn't get hot like my alluminum did quickly. I've had my new white macbook for 2 months and very satisfied. I'm using it to type this right now. FYI i noticed u were using old pictures of the white macbook. The white macbook is the same stucture and design as the alluminum is. The only difference is that it's white and plastic.

I think apple should just can the white plastic MacBook. I had the black one when that was (the top of the line macbook) back 3 years ago... It was cool at first, but over time the hinges started squeaking, and around the trackpad, that area started to break off. It really just started to fall apart. I have since upgraded to the 15" MBP uni-body and love it. Plus the display is most triumphant

You said two little mistakes in the video.

First the processor in the macbook white and in the top Macbook air are not exactily the same. The clock speed is the same (2.13 Ghz) but the air has 6 mb of L2 cache.

Second, the graphics performance in the white macbook and in the macbook pro isn't also the same.

Both have the 9400 m graphics, but since it doesn't have dedicated ram they use the ram memory.

And because the pro uses ddr3, the graphics are also a bit faster.

I've the white 2.oGhz from early 09 Nvidia graphics 2Gb RAM standard ( getting some from Crucial at nearly a third the price Apple charge) the whitebook wil take 6Gb (unofficial but it does ;).

ahh i see in the MB screen reflection at the 4 min mark that u also have the 24in wide screen imac along with ur 13 MBP. i too have the same collection of apples! my ibook which is 7 years old started coming apart at the hinges! and the port for the charging cable wont let the laptop charge correctly because its been bent a few times, go with the MBP guys!

Check for refurbs, you may be able to get a unibody for the same price as a new white MacBook. Refurbs are as good as new but don't come in as pretty a box and have usually been used before. Although lots are just unsold stock.
