Huh. Didn't know so much awesomeness could be concentrated into a small space like that without some sort of awesomeness gravity sucking it all out of the rest of the world.
At least you have good tools, I had to make mine without that vertical saw, and I live in a flat so I had to make the whole project in my balcony and in my studio xDDDDDDD (just imagine what an ammount of hours cleaning the mess xDD).
yeah sounds hard. my shop is really small and there hardly any space with all the tools but i guess its better than doing it on a balcony lol
uh the ash for the body was about $50 but there was enough wood for 2 bodies, The maple for the neck was around $15, and the birds eye maple for the body veneer was about $20. Im not really for shur what prices of the wood were i bought it a year or so ago
@rsncaronte sounds hard. that "vertical saw" is called a band saw. they are EXTREMELY useful, along with a router. Good luck to ya on your next projects :)
Very impressed. I can't imagine how good you future builds after seeing this one finished...

Did you make the fingerboard yourself? That was always the most diffucult for me.
TheJonmarshall 2 years ago
no i didnt. it has to be so perfect for it to be in tune. thats why i order it pre slotted.
jckray 2 years ago
@jckray its actually a lot easier than u think. maybe i got lucky but i just measured it with a ruler and it intonates perfectly
