  • this might sound kind of weird, but I always had sort of a crush on doug, he's just so adorable.

  • @2theRedNecks No found cause of death? Should've asked Doug...

  • @2theRedNecks A girl with no face? Is she hot?

  • loool i love how hes all badass at the end with the gloves now that hes not nervous anymore

  • I was disappointed that Doug only appeared in a few episodes of season 8. I felt he actually adds a lot of character to the show :(

  • Thank god Doug pretty much owned Elliot right there, proving her WRONG! Otherwise I might've cried if he got fired :'[

  • 0:42 look he found another one of O J Simpsons bloody glove, what a nice hiding spot

  • zomg elliot brushed her hair before getting the gloves... how un hygenic, oh well he's already dead, and i cant spell

  • lol so many wiki-whores using big words to seem smart...kinda sad really :/

  • what episode plz reply

  • Only Doug could put a paracentesis needle into an aorta. Sometimes people have extra fluid in their abdomen, usually resulting from some other disease, and you would insert a paracentesis needle to draw out that fluid.

I.e. If you insert a needle near the heart when you're supposed to put it in the abdomen, you're definitely not cut out to be a doctor.

  • The Aorta Also flows down the Abdomen too so One could accidently jab the Aorta when they are jabbing the Abdomen with the said needle, but to do that they must have real bad luck

  • you are quite the genius...and obviously you have never heard of the abdominal aorta which begins where the thoracical part of the aorta penetrates the diaphragma. it then travels through the whole abdomen until it is divided into the arteriae iliacae communes which supply the pelvis...etc...

  • Alright, I did forget about that. However, you still wouldn't jab a needle where it could hit the aorta.

  • invasive procedures are always risky whether the aorta is close by or not. puncturing any vessel of the gastroenteric tract could cause phenomenal bleeding as could placing a thoracic drainage where you could easily hurt an intercostal artery which is directly connected to the thoracic aorta...and since there is a great variation between patients, when it comes to where certain blood vessels can be found, a procedure like paracentesis is always risky...

  • @teHc00kie tl;dr

  • @lotrfan8 well incompetent doctors are scary...

  • what season and episode is this from

  • sucks as a doctor but hey since he's killed more people than a secret service agent he's a great coroner lol

  • okkk any1 notice how he pulls that glove lookin thing out of the last body.... then he drops his glove into the body....... I THINK DOUG KILLED THAT GUY... damn goverment operative

  • They call it a Doug cause he kills all his patients.K?

  • I'm glad Doug finally found his calling.

  • Comment removed

  • I really like this clip because its nice to have doug find his calling in life and be safe in the knowledge that in working in the morgue, its impossible for him to hurt anyone. As Carla put it: "The worst thing he can do down in the morgue is bring someone back to life!" :)

  • @KingofKlubs

ok he cant hurt anyone but those bodies can hurt him!

  • @KingofKlubs hey we've all seen pet cemetery, it could go really badly lols

  • @KingofKlubs And then he'd kill them again. As Doug made JD painfully aware in the elevator once: "Dead people should be dead!"

  • @Diablo5303 He's right y'know I mean what would you do if a supposedly dead person popped up and asked a question.

  • @KingofKlubs he locked someone in a morgue drawyer who wasn't dead, just heavily sedated.

  • Sorry but... no I'm not insulting you...

By "upstairs they call it a Doug" he probably implied, that he actually caused so many patients to die of this particular dicease, that they named it after him.

  • Wasn't a disease, it was a screwup. "something-needle to the aorta" In other words, they accidentally stabbed the patient in the heart with a needle.

  • why would they call it a 'Doug'?!?!?

  • beacause his name is doug, and doug always kills people

  • because he's seen dead people a lot. It's kinda his job

  • yeah, probably!!

  • Its actually a joke in the sitcom, its because hes such a horrible doctor that he kills alot of people.

  • No all of those would mean its a comedy show and you should laugh...

  • Um....wouldn't all of those be considered malpractice and get the hospital sued?

  • "Well my work here is done" *throws gloves in body*

  • You Know What Other Right Thing Is Really Hard?....

    *Puts hand up*

  • I can live with it xD

  • That last one was probably his own doing.

  • what season is this?

  • thats how he became a pathologist

  • i love doug os as dr. cox calls him, pee pants

  • that's because that part of the fram wass cut out, if you look at it again that part of the lab is cut off too.

  • it isnt Doug who "kills" the woman... it is Cabbage.. Season 5 My cabbage

  • is this the one where he says goodbye to an elderly woman and she becomes infected and dies in another episode because he didn't wash his hands?

  • That wasn't Doug that was Cabbage

  • ah, that would make sense

  • that was mrs. wilk and no its an intern called cabage

  • what episode is this from dose any one know?

  • the 1st time i heard him utter the line, "Upstairs they call that a Doug" i bowled over in laughter...
