Cats have not been domesticated nearly as long as dogs. This is their nature. I'm sure a thousand years from now we will have taught our dogs to do light housework and cats won't need to kill things...until then, I'm going to enjoy watching my cat stalk and hunt and take care of its self. doubt it, thats wat my dad said when i borugh tthe cat home.. the temprments are differnet eye color, size, and the coat is silver you can tell the difference they just look better than normal tabbies....

its just cat breeds are not a prominant as dogs in differences so ppl cant tell.. but they do look alot different they stand out and fur and pattern is gorgeous and they have temprements that aplie to the breed... standard cats can varie in temprements.

Theres a reason why cats can and are domesticated. domesticated cats and wild cats are not the same. inhibiting a wild cat from eating live prey is cruel since that is all it knows how to do. However most domesticated cats have NO reason to be eating live prey when they have healthy cat food at home and are familiar with. They can catch diseases by eating random wild prey as well. Owners should keep their cats indoors as it also prolongs their life.
