This game looks awesome! I grew up with the books as a child and would love to play this!

The only way it can be better is if they make one where you can play as a Darklord or as a Drakkar, a human warrior of the Darklords. Being able to make choices and pick sides would make a game set in this world epic.

Please bring Magnamund to digital life!

weren't the lone wolf books to first to feature a leveling up system? As far as I remember you had extra abilities if you'd completed books prior to the one you were reading. Great idea I thought. Too bad if this game's been canned, looked pretty good. Maybe someone team could work the GreyStar the Wizard series into a game

This looked so cool :( It reminded me of my already favorite video game "Kings Field" and combined it with my favorite books. "Lone Wolf" I'm so sad they cancelled it. It looked freaking sweet too. All the blood was really cool. He was so hacking away at the Drakkarim soldiers. I don't know about that mind push thing but I guess it could have been like a Kai Surge or something. Either way too bad it was cancelled. Wish they could finish it :( :( :( :( :(

It's been canceled for sure now - Joe said so - but I think I like the books better. IMAGINATION! Uh huh.

hum, best gamebook series ever, I played them in French from 1 to 22, I'm thinkink of buying the full set of 32 once they're all released.

The game shown seems average... :/

It does look like another variation on some FPS-type game without guns. But I am very excited about this for a few reasons:

(1) It's LoneWolf! The world oozes atmosphere and the concept drawings I see here do justice to it.

(2) Joe Dever himself, the original creator, supports this project. He is involved.

(3) Look at what a small company like the one that produced The Witcher did with less money: a game that really is outstanding. There's no reason why it can't happen again here.

He was at the "Monde du Jeu 2009" expo saterday and sunday in Paris, unfortunately I missed the saturday interview... maybe I'll find a transcription somewhere...

But I do hope they manage to create some great music for it. The one I hear here is a bit conventional for my taste. May they take their cues from the work that was done for the Age of Conan MMO (which, to be fair, had a humongous budget).
