@Cavemaann3 Thats the mystery about the forsaken.They had a big part in Wrath, because of what their originial claim was when they joined the horde-to kill the lich king. Many of the quests in the undead zones and northrend show suspicous signs of that they're making a plague of some kind.But (most) aren't EVIL.These undead were actually traitors,they were plotting against sylvanas,and in league with a demon to take over the undercity.It was actually a world event,back in wrath,to take back UC!

My bad. I got a few names mixed up: Putress was not the demon. Varmithras was. Putress was the Forsaken traitor* and leader of the Royal Apothecary Society. Not all of the Apothecaries betrayed Sylvanas, but enough did so that the Forsaken were blamed.

@Septemist It wasn't the actual Forsaken that attacked Angrathar. It was the Royal Apothecary Society, which was lead by a Forsaken trader and a demon. The Forsaken were wrongly accused, but they did none of the damage. There was a quest to kill Putress, which was the demon, but Blizzard dropped the quest. Putress was the leader who betrayed those at Angrathar.

For the Alliance and the Horde. Though at war now, I do have a few friends in the Horde. Together, we crushed the Scourge forces in several battles. Then, when the Undead were dealt with, we let them go.

Afterwards, IRL they told us of an upcoming Horde attack on Stormwind, which, thanks to this info was easily crushed.

Well, Sylvanas didn't betray the horde. It was putress( or however his name is spelled ) and Varimathras ( I think it's spelled like that ). Those two actually tried to kill Sylvanas when they took over the undercity, so she went to Thrall for aid, I other words, she had nothing to do with the forsaken killing everyone at the wrathgate..

If you are not horde then I dont think you get all the detail (I dont know you might somehow get it) But you have to go to Undercity and with Thrall, Sylvanas and Vol'jin to take back Undercity from the people that Skumtroll mentioned. Just trying to add a little to his post.

Well you might have done the Wrathgate but if you took Undercity back then yes you saw Vol'jin. When you first go to the conquered UC he is sitting there on his raptor watching the guys on the catapults attacking UC.
