the guy that made this bass fretless had put them in the shop, thats why i dont remember ;] on electric i usually use GHS boomers and recently im thinking about switching to DR ;]

this is a Samick Greg Bennet design acoustic bass which was de fretted ;]

and the places where the frets were, were filled by thin wood plates so i could see the lines hehe

i sold my fretless acustic, its wierd how i can play double bass yet not fretless bass guitar

strange... cos i can play double bass ;] its different technique though, but i found that it is easier to be in tune on acoustic fretless if u are using the fingering on the left hand like on a double bass... not for all passages though, but for most ;] especially using one finger to play a 4th

there are also hybrid fretless basses where frets are in there but just in the fretboard and dont actaully contact the string, basically they are just markings

i didnt play it from tabs ;] first i played it by ear, then i got the notes from the mingus fakebook but i played it almost right by ear
