@sunshine978@sunshine978 hey, thanks alot! i am not sure what strings are there, but if i remember correctly its d'addario chromes XL warm/mellow medium gauge (lomg scale) cos thats the other unpacked set i have
@sunshine978 also could be those :Ernie-Ball-2810-Flatwound-
the guy that made this bass fretless had put them in the shop, thats why i dont remember ;] on electric i usually use GHS boomers and recently im thinking about switching to DR ;]
cant beat that sound! I play upright but I do have an acoustic bass too! I am ripping the frets uout first thing in the morning! Love your sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, that is Way Cool! - Excellent Tone, & Playing! - I've played that great tune on all kinds of bass'es - except!, an 'acoustic fret less' bass! - Holy Moly! never seen one! -
hey your very welcome, I usually play an electric 'Warwick' bass - their fretless elect. ones are awesome too - but that is just great playing period - Bravo!!
strange... cos i can play double bass ;] its different technique though, but i found that it is easier to be in tune on acoustic fretless if u are using the fingering on the left hand like on a double bass... not for all passages though, but for most ;] especially using one finger to play a 4th
thanks alot! congrads on choosing Bass ;] it is a great instrument that requires alot of patience, but once you get into the groove, its hypnotising ;]
there are also hybrid fretless basses where frets are in there but just in the fretboard and dont actaully contact the string, basically they are just markings
Wow! that is awesome! Would you be able to send me a tab or something?
Thanks heaps

@sunshine978 yea, you shouldn't really use roundwounds on a fretless imho because it might scratch/dent the fingerboard
