Many people claim that Brit 80s thrash was a desert of good bands, but I disagree when it comes to Xentrix and a couple others. Maybe not as energic and violent or technical as the yankees or the krauts, or evil as the brazilians, still Xentrix proved that there could be intelligent thrash from the Brit isle, even in their later offerings.

True - but this was their Black Album - dont get me wrong I love kin, you could hear that they were metallica fans in a lot of their stuff. That said the black album chjanged the scene - a lot of bands made soimilar albums (Testament "The Ritual" & Megadeth "Countdown To Extinction). Dosnt bother me though it was down to bands realising they didnt have to be fast all the time. I used to love Metallica but have lost a lot of respect from them since load

this song has so much power in it... I learned about Xentrix in 1993, when a RoadRunner miniCD called Songs of Pain was out. It had 5 songs by 5 bands (Obituary, Defiance, Deicide, Xentrix and the mighty Sadus). Whoever bought any of those releases had this CD for free. I bought the End Complete and there I was... listening to this song from the miniCD... astonished... I couldn't believe it... this band was huge... It is so sad that they exist no more...
