  • Oh My Goodness, I used to have 3 kitties all the same colors. They are all 3 gone now, the black & white was the last one to pass he was 18 1/2.

  • @ceahorse56 we sure have an assortment and every year so new ones just appear..

  • Diane, I heard you mention 'bug dust'. What is that? Have you every tried compost tea?

  • @StephWebb17 , just something to kill the bugs, ended up not using any.. and yes I have used compost tea.. :)

  • It is taking longer to plant my fall veggie garden. About 1/2 the first round of seeds died in the heat even with good care. This week is looking better with more survival and growth. I was worried they wouldn`t have time to make fruit before it got cold but I`m sure I`ll at least get some squash.

  • Nice garden. Like your mulch! Your Calli looks like my cat, Lacey. I guess there are a lot of them out there. lol

  • Calli looks like our cat Trouble. The garden is looking really good. I've never grown kohlrabi before, but its an interesting plant for sure.

  • Everything looks nice! I grew some kohlrabi for the first time this year and was surprised that it did very well.

  • @imstillworkin , so did you like the taste? or maybe you haven't tasted it yet..they are one of the easiest I feel of veggies to grow..

  • @dianemummvideos They reminded me of broccoli stems. They were surprisingly easy to grow, from the looks of them I thought they would be difficult.

  • What to kohlrabi taste like. I need some out door cats to control the chipmonks, squirrels, rabbits and birds. I had two a few years back but they were indoor cats. Miss them. Your garden is coming right along Diane. Watch them tomatoes for critters taking bites out of them. Take care. ...........Paula

  • @Allen2045 , taste between a cabbage , turnip but sweeter, I haven't had a turnip but love cabbage.. you just will have to try it..Paula.. usually don't have critter problems in the garden.. but if they get hungry enough you never can tell..
