He chooses a people to help him do it. He makes sure that they know of his plan by sending prophets, But if they know he is the Messiah, they will not kill him, and his plan will be spoiled. What about the fact of John 1:29, 1 John 2:2 and 1 Cor 5:21? I cannot find a single verse in the Bible that says unbelievers are sent to hell to pay for their sins. The fact a person is a sinner has nothing to do with why they go to hell. I sin, but am not going to hell. Jesus paid for the sin of every person on the cross. The problem is that people's names are not in the book of life. People need to believe to receive eternal life. See my video, Propitiation, does it only count if I accept it.

the bible says that jesus stands at the door knocking and any man that hears him, he will come and dwell within. the bible speaks in parables, jesus isnt literally at what u think is a door, he is at the door to ur body, ur heart mind and soul. this is where he will dwell and he will give u peace in any situation and u will know he is real. all we have to do is diligently seek him and listen :)

Everytime I am preached about Hell I am reminded of how cruel the God of the Bible really is. I understand when people misbehave in life, they have to be punished for hurting others, their punishment should fit the crime. But to create a system where everybody will be given the same punishment and the same prison sentence inspite of what they've done, that is barbaric. There is absolutely no justice in infinitely punishing someone for a finite crime, especially because they don't worship you.

The bible's final book is the Revelation. Why do people call it "Revelations?" There's no final "s." If you can't get the title of the book right, how am I supposed to give this any credence?
Christians claim that God is omnipotent. Surely a God with so much power has the capability to tell us this himself? If God is there then why is there so much evil? He preaches to us,via conscience and revelation,and has provided necessary material to solve all the big problems in the world. When we aren't truly good - selfless that is,these things are the fruits.

I used to believe that. Even contributed to my rejection of the Bible for a bit. I later realized that the Bible seems to never mention what happens to those who don't hear the Gospel so I think that they are judged by a different standard.
@apk1215 The bible describes hell in great and the suffering within it, but what about those who are not educated in christianity? I have had the good fortune of going to a Catholic school and being raised as a Christian and therefore have reverence and maturity towards the subject, and I know Christianity in its entirety. I have personally decided that I shall be an athiest, so if i am wrong and am burnt in hell, so be it, but those who havent a clue? Are they damned for being uneducated?

I've seen it point blank as I used to be a Christian. Then when you become an Atheist, they despise you, call you names, insist on sending you to some healing camp. I do not like Christianity, to me it is a bad religion.

What about the fact of John 1:29, 1 John 2:2 and 1 Cor 5:21? I cannot find a single verse in the Bible that says unbelievers are sent to hell to pay for their sins. The fact a person is a sinner has nothing to do with why they go to hell. I sin, but am not going to hell. Jesus paid for the sin of every person on the cross. Everytime I am preached about Hell I am reminded of how cruel the God of the Bible really is. I understand when people misbehave in life, they have to be punished for hurting others, their punishment should fit the crime. But to create a system where everybody will be given the same punishment and the same prison sentence inspite of what they've done, that is barbaric. There is absolutely no justice in infinitely punishing someone for a finite crime, especially because they don't worship you.

I used to believe that. Even contributed to my rejection of the Bible for a bit. I later realized that the Bible seems to never mention what happens to those who don't hear the Gospel so I think that they are judged by a different standard.

I've seen it point blank as I used to be a Christian. Then when you become an Atheist, they despise you, call you names, insist on sending you to some healing camp. I think you're just a little scared of death and what comes afterward. Truth is neither you, me, nor anyone else can make such a claim. So why worry about it? We all need to realize that while hell is torment and suffering, we repent not because of fear of ending up there, but because the judge (Jesus Christ) stepped down from His throne and took our place so we would not have to end up in hell- it's the greatest love story. The problem with this is that people don't like to hear the truth. Truth hurts but can set you free (John 8:32). They might call us crazy religious people but we know who we are waiting for.
