  • i hav a hornbby layout in my attic im getting the orange 1

  • very nice :)

  • guys i have the enterprise locomotive it's so damn rare

  • the old place hasnt changed much!

  • that train is very noisy is this layout dcc or just dc

  • @jmsschooner - no, it's because it's by Lima. To their credit, Lima tried to market to as many countries as possible by making trains from those countries (Australian outline modelling would not be where it is today without Lima), but they haven't moved forward from the toy train paradigm with their loco mechanisms. Here's hoping that future Lima models from Hornby will be better.

  • i like this layout very much can u slow down the train cheers very tidy n neat layout i like a lot what controller are you using for this layout

  • Nice! I have the Model Irish Railways GM Class 201 in the new "Intercity" livery that is named "River Tolka", numbered 219.

  • Very impressive, I spotted Lima NIR mk2 coaches on ebay it would match your NIR class 201 very nicely! no bids yet but it starting off at £100, just shows how valuable your collection is congrats and keep em safe! :D

  • Wow! All three of the class 201 models in different liveries; that's very lucky! :) That 201's incredibly fast too; from what i heard I didn't think the motor would allow it but I was wrong :) Thank you for sharing; I've seen many British Model trains but it's great to see irish ones in action too! :D

  • the best 4ever

  • exellent layout but what's with all that speed?

  • Fantastic. The scenery is great, particularly the old street with some houses boarded up and another under renovation. It's got great detail. The railway itself is top class, some great rolling stock.

  • that was a very nice layout

  • How big is the board cuz i want to do somthing like this

  • Hello if you check the second comment down the sizes are all there :-)

  • KK thanks

  • @leeevans2009 Cool, This christmas 2010 willl be my 1st hornby train set. I will do reviews for them

  • @trainsmaster1 At the moment i havent any room to do something like this but soon i will and im gonna make a Huge layout :)

  • eem how big is tat like in cm or foot cud u tell me

  • Hi the center is the standard Hornby track mat 6 ft by 4 ft and the whole area including the track mat is 14 ft by 11ft 6 inches.

  • i take it that the model only started off on the hornby track mat then

    nice extensions 5*

  • sum good stuff on that wouldnt mind the NIR engine its very rare now

  • Johnson's bus, brilliant. Went to school on a Bova like that for 7 years!

  • brilliant layout 5star good job i have subscribed

  • Pity about the unrealistic very high speeds, however some parts of the landscape were excellent
