Hi there! What's going on with my screenplay is that I basically had finished it with maybe a couple of little tweaks to go, but when I downloaded it (with its 85 or so scenes), it tragically did a MacArthur Park number on me by missing the ideal 100-120 page mark and (somehow) came out as an embarrassing 44-page runt!

I haven't even touched it for a good 3 months, just too discouraged. I feel the story is solid ... but clearly the thing is fundamentally broken.:-(

wow .. that is messed up. you can copywrite online. it doesn't cost that much. Under 50 bucks.

I finished writing my screenplay & decided to give it just a little protection by mailing it to myself Certified Mail. I mailed it out on the 17th (it's the 22nd today) and hadn't gotten it so I called the postal branch and gave them the info and the lady told me the regular was not delivering that day and that it would be a week before they could talk to the guy that was on duty the day when I should have gotten it. I worked my ass of to write a FABULOUS screenplay and now someone else has it!!

@guyNbluejeans Why not register it with the WGA? Or, if you want, copyright in DC? Poorman's copyrights are crap.
