I'm Mexican but Malcom X, Che Guevarra, and others like them that truly fought the establishment are and have always been my inspiration and heroes......lets continue the fight.
Malcolm X is brilliant speaker. I don't follow any religion myself, but the religious unity was probably the most useful weapon in their fight for equality. Fuck division and racism, we're all brothers on this planet and we should be fighting those who seek to separate us
@Ultre I think you missed the point. Malcolm X was saying that religion was a personal thing and we shouldn't let it divide us in our struggle for freedom. He was talking about how, when you're trying to make a change in society, you have to unite with people based on a common cause and retain a sense of brotherhood DESPITE religious differences.
@ZOPEY the shit has changed, but not much. the man handling is not as bad, but thet are even better at manipulating the truth. they are better at making the innocent out to be the criminal and vice versa.
Division is the enemies strongest weapon, do not fight within one another and contribute to the chaos that has been manufactured to keep you enslaved. Now is the time to embrace each others differences unite in the name of freedom, equality and justice!
White people today believe that racism is over because we have a black president but its not racism is still around its just curtained. People wanna call the president a nigger but they cant so they use different words to hide their blatant racism. Malcolm X is a true hero to black people because he took on the white man and challenged him and his postion. He by no means was racist or part of a hate group when you think about it why wouldnt you hate someone who killed and raped your people
While I respect Malcolm for his courage to stand up against oppression, I can't help but notice that he had a racial overtone in his speeches. I'm white and I find it offensive that he sterotypes all white people when its stereotyping that he is speaking against! This indirectly fuels further racism on the part of black people. We ALL face an oppressive state and government and we will never break free unless ALL races come together and fight back. Hate groups are funded. Divide & Conquer.
@WeHaveBeenDeceived First off black people cant be racist Malcolm X wasnt racist when he talk about white people he is talking about the oppressor the people who bought us here against are will to build this country for them and not give us one cent for doing it. The same oppressor who after they freed us looked for any reason he could to lynch, rape, and kill us. Your agurment is bull shit he isnt sterotyping white people he is talking about you and your ancestors and your crimes
@militiamcc "Black people can't be racist"? What an ignorant comment.. So your saying that racially fueled hate groups don't purport racism? Do you understand the definition of racism? Your also stereotyping me and assuming it was "my" ancestors that had anything to do with slavery. Your blaming whites for doing the very same thing your doing. There's another definition for you "hypocrite". While I understand that you may be a victim of establishment programing, blacks weren't the only "slaves".
Hearing speeches from Malcolm or MLK never ceases to send chills down my spine as well as confirm the fact that something is inherently wrong with American culture, even 50 years later.
