  • Political Correctness is another Marxist tool/weapon for paralysing or striking fear into westerners who resist the destruction of their country or culture. That is the goal of Marxists and communists, to destroy borders, cultures and nations resulting in their dream of a one world government.

  • The politically-correct Left are funny folk. All property is theft (except when it's theirs), all people are of equal worth (except the ones they want to constantly guilt-trip for the sins of the fathers) and all points of view are valid and worthy of protection (except those they don't like).

    Very unequal these 'Equality' people!

  • @TheDustpile

I don't see what any of this has to do with PC, which was a liberal (and I think, necessary) initiative. It is MARXISTS who believe all property is theft, it is CATHOLICS who peddle the guilt trip you refer to, and the liberal press and media are a lot more balanced than the right-wing media (I hope we never have anything as disgustingly bigoted as FOX here in the UK).

By the way, political correctness was primarily about LANGUAGE.

  • @yorksauce PC is essentially Marxist, with its mania on 'equality' so extreme that it even rules that schoolkids can't be split off into groups based on learning ability, as that would be 'stigmatic' and 'discriminatory'.

The guilt trips continue unabated as white schoolkids are made to feel a collective guilt over the African slave trade, although all but some of the rich kids' ancestors had nothing to do with it, we were the first to stop it and the last to join and that ... (continued)

  • @TheDustpile ...it was the African tribes who hated each other who organised the slave roundups. But everything's always just whitey's fault.

Plenty of examples abound. Just Google LUNATICS OF THE NEW LABOUR STATE for a roundup on where PC came from, what it does, why it's mind control from literally cradle to grave and how it breeds the inequality it claims to cure.

  • People who preach Political Correctness tend to be not very intelligent and lack the basics of common sense. I find PC offensive and patronising and will NEVER be PC. The best way to deal with this 'crap' is to ignore it, ridicule iit and teach others not to be PC.

  • I don't have a problem with the term "actor" for male and females. It's the same job, what's their sex got to with it? And I suppose the logic is: same word: same job: same pay. Language is immensely powerful. If you insist on differentiating between actors, how about a word for annoying actors like Tom Cruise (twatcors?)

  • I think Stewart Lee puts it best when he describes PC "as an often clumsy negotiation towards a more inclusive language", but one that has stopped the lazy recycling of unchallenged prejudices.Sometimes, these can be quite subtle. For example, I'm sure that most old men when they say "my dear" or "pet" to a wife or friend just mean it as a term of affection, but in a different context - for example, a male manager referring to a female manager - it sounds patronising and inappropriate.

  • I totally see your points and they are extremely valid.Trust me I would never attack equality! I did this ver tongue in cheek and it was more, the outright silly stuff,I had in mind..some of the percieved equality in all thespians being known as actors,I dont see anything wrong with acknowledging gender..person holes, instead of man holes and gingerbread people for gingerbreadmen et al. I too dislike those denigrating words we're well rid of!

  • As I say, I can see the thinking behind "actor", but there are examples of PC (or rather inclusiveness) going too far. There was an "inclusive" sitcom in Britain which starred a boy in a wheelchair who could not speak or move. You heard his thoughts as a voiceover. For me, this completely backfired, as the boy just seemed like a hopeless object in the context. Being able to speak and move are unfortunately minimum requirements for an actor.

  • I dare say political correctness can be misused by some people, but you only have watch the kind of hateful comedy produced in the UK in the 1970s (e.g., Jim Davidson) that would be unthinkable today to see how far the project of PC has brought us. I remember as a child repeating some of Davidson's words, "blackie sambo", to a black neighbour without knowing what they meant. I cringe when I think of it.

  • Im not going to be PC to some asshole calling me a gringo, or a cracker. Why the hell should i respect and tolerate that crap!? Political correctness is a weapon which ultimately ends in genocide. Im not going to just sit here while people tote the double standard around like a fucking religion. As a white male, im the single most hated person on earth. At least in fascist USA.

  • I agree,it's all gone much too far..not correct,more ridiculous.

  • PC is being NICE?!!!!!!

You tosser. PC is cultural Marxism. Look it up you blind twat and educate yourself.

  • Trus? Where do you get that I said anything about PC being nice? I said it was ridiculous, you couldn't possibly have listened!Ah,but you are brilliant..amongst other things! Drop in anytime!

  • Look down the comments. It was not aimed at you.

londonoverground: "Thats what pc is, being nice, "

  • OK, my bad apologies,I'm very sleep deprived atm,no offense meant!

  • No worries. You are just not as brilliant as me...lol

    :0)

  • :) Touche' !

  • if you dont like using terms like Actor to describe an actress then don't! no-one is holding a gun to your head. you can call a black guy a nigger, a gay a faggot, it just isn't very nice is all. Thats what pc is, being nice, and no-one gets to decide how nice you should be other than you. only you can decide how 'politically correct' you should be. so stop moaning that the PC brigade are killing ur joy because really they don't exist! it would be better to ignore the bullshit than cry about it

  • Ok,thanks for your advice.I try not to be nasty to people and I would never use the name's you've mentioned!I feel I should tell you I wasn't moaning.I dont REALLY let all that bother me.Just out of interest are you an Australian yourself?

  • sorry, I am from England - where this whole sorry topic began.

  • I too think political correctness is a crock of crap as well.

But on a lighter note, I think you're soo adorable!

  • Thank you so much, for the compliment!

  • well said. i agree with you all the way.

  • I suppose I'm carrying on a bit,but it really does go much too far sometimes! LOL, remember when common sense prevailed?

  • common sense seems to not matter much anymore. pc rules as minorities can sue, but every single person fits into a minoritory of some sort. it is crazy these days, got out of hand.

  • Beaudy Gleegirloz. Like the papers refer to Sir Elton John's "husband". Therefore shouldn't Elton be called "Dame Elton"? Don't get me wrong, I'm not turning my back on him. Look's like Betty Windsor got it wrong. It's a wonder Phil The Greek didn't correct her.

  • Well yeah you've got a point there! Had to LOL,when I saw you refer to Phil the Greek, thought that was only in our house! Thanks for your comment Harry! :)

  • good points gleegirloz...you make the coolest movies..lol cyclone fred..baa baaa rainbow sheep now...

  • Thanks Stretch, that cyclone thing gets me the most I think, lol! It just doesn't sound right, kinda like givig a ship a mans name doesn't!Mate, you make way cool movies,I just wish I had the patience to do what you're doing :)

  • Haha I like you

  • Well thank you so much, what a kind thing to say.....I like being liked! :)

  • I think you are talking about PC in a very narrow way.. consider the words "fag" or "nigger". I am very thankful that they aren't used very often, as they are inflammatory. I know what you're getting at, but PC, in many senses, means "the words/concepts that aren't thrown around, as they can cause unnecessary offense". Much of PC is part of human nature - coming from the desire to avoid offense and dispute. "political correctness" is just a bad way of putting it.

  • you sad tosser

  • That's an interesting turn of phrase for a Sydneysider, seems more English! As for tosser, your opinion, but I can assure you I'm not at all sad!Pedantic, but not sad.

  • **:P**

  • I agreee with you, 100%

PC has gone way too far, I mean, what are we meant to be, just one morphed mass of people with no difference..?

  • It does seem that society becomes more and more homogenised!

  • Good god your so right, although for some reason I've always called police "officers"

    But yes, PC shits me.

  • Just thinking out loud really,I do the same as you with Police Officers, lol!!

  • My kind of woman.

  • Thanks mate,apparently I'm a hippy,lol! Appreciate the comment :)

  • ur a hippy

  • Am I?

  • Politically correct language also affects the legal system and the way we are governed. An excellent book to read is "The Death of Common Sense" by Philip K Howard. A fascinating book.

  • I'll check it out, thanks for the tip!

  • you bloody ripper at least there is one other person on this ball of clay that has had a gutful of the intelligentia telling us what and how we should act. ( by the way intelligentia are people educated beyond their intelligence) for christ'sake there is MALE and FEMALE and for the kids there is a santa claus and we are not offending muslims or jews if we celebrate christmas ( my jewish friends send me christmas cards) men are superior to females in some ways and VICE VERSA (ask my missus)

  • I'm with you mate,I worked in the education system for many years and saw some very silly policies put into place because of so called P.C.!

  • (cont.)At one school I was told to take down the Christmas tree the kis had made and decorated themselves. These kids were from many cultures, with the backing of the children and some parents(not all Christian, but Hindi,Muslim and others) We refused to take it and our decorations down.By the same token,we /I made sure we celebrated the cultural festivals of all in the group!

  • (cont)I agree that there are tasks some better suited to males and others to females, why change what has worked for centuries? I think as people no matter what gender we are equal! Thanks for commenting :) Sorry it took so many boxes for this.

  • Nice to see a video where someone puts their honest thoughts out for comment.

  • I grew up with parents who taught me that honesty was always the best policy. I worked with children for many years (until 18mnts ago) and saw much confusion in them by the so called "correct"policies. Honesty may sometimes be harsh, but truth is the only way to communicate decently in the long run! :)

  • I agree with her 100%. But I like to use gender neutral terms when talking of achievements and avoid using "man-made".

  • Thanks for commenting Star :)

  • About time you got a feature babe

  • Thanks Pauly, about time you got a partnership! Grats <3ya

  • lol

  • Glenda featured! Hope their aren't too many childish remarks lol loveya darl XX

  • Just look above darl,lol!

  • I love how they use the term "Actor" for both men and women and then instead of awarding an Academy award for 'Best Actor' the women magically become actresses again to ensure a woman doesn't miss out on an Oscar.

  • I dont understand why they aren't the same thing during the entire process!

  • PC = "Preposterous Crap", thanks brilliant, I'm so going to use that. Thanks Glee. :)

  • Your welcome mate, just popped int my head!

  • @megaleach

Wow, you've discovered acronyms. You're so not worth the limbs and functioning organs you were given.

  • @yorksauce Trolling 2 year old comments, really?

  • yep PC sucks!

  • dont it just :)

  • I agree with you that sometimes it goes too far and gets extremely silly! People just need to lighten up! LOL

  • so right!

  • i will not say buttocks tunnels

  • Oh no please dont, assholes is more pc,isn't it? :) Hi stranger!

  • LOL WHAT?! XD OMG that is a classic XD

Buttocks tunnels ... XD XD XD

  • It's a good one isn't it :)

  • Sometimes political correctness goes to far. I look after a little lady is 45 who has the mental age of a two year old. She is double incontinant and unable to speak. Social workers complained that her books which were written for toddlers were not age appropriate. Grrrr watch steam coming out of my ears.

  • I know just where you're coming from,we got the same deal in childcare with seeming appropriatenes,it's usually social workers, bits of paper and no actual experience!Like with my integration kids,I was supposed to find a way of making them understand the curricular even though they were profoundly intellectually handicapped,I had explosions at times, lol!

  • I made a video Glee of some of the things I do in work if you would like to see :)

  • It was lovely to see you at work,it made me realise how I miss mine :(.Try to tell myself I dont! Have you heard that saying:

If you find a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life!:)

  • That is so true. Most days I really look forward to going to work. Hope you are having a good weekend. Hugs for you xxx

  • G: Must agree with you on this! It's ironic--because I think it all started as a way to simply be sensitive and polite--but now it's become a form of hostility and those who enforce it are like language police...Good video!

  • Yes Bob I think you're right, but we forgot moderation, nobody stood up to say oh come now, lol! I got your message and have written one back but YT wont let me send it yet (functionality unavailable)Funnily enough I was having a cup of tea when I opened it,will send asap ;)

  • Hi Rick I saw that you had commented in the email notification but it wasn't there when I went to answer! I'm still giggling over the queen having 'people in waiting' which she doesn't,but she's royal and I'm not so I 'll just have to put up and shut up,lol!

  • I'm gonna steal that last one from you..

    LOL well struck

  • Your very welcome, there were others but I was told not to use them!:)

  • lol very true Glee! Like Fatcat with politically incorrect, whereas Humphey can get around with no pants on lmao! Do u remember the yummy bickies - Golliwogs? Didn't they have a name change too? I've always enjoyed how ur mind works ;D XX

  • Oh Anna thank you for recognising my mind actually does work! I was thinking of golliwogs but didn't dare to say it.I thought later does the Queen now have people in waiting? Luvya xx

  • LMAO yes I wonder! ;P

  • You are so right and i agree. Its like Postperson! why cant we stay with postman or postmaster and postwoman and postmistress.

Like its not a policeman or policewoman its a police officer. i was laughing at having no more husband and wife. Are they not just partners now?

  • Yes Kim I think this androgynous thing is ridiculous and possibly even more incorrect than identifyinmg gender.I thought it was partners if you weren't wed.I've been living in sin for 29yrs and we call each other husband and wife because partners sounds like we're in a law firm or the like!

  • Maybe your worring to much :P

  • Pauly my love,I'm not worried it simply annoys the hell outta me! Hmmm I need lycra!!!!!

  • Its coming..!!!

  • So's Christmas babe, lol!

  • PC goes to far sometimes..lol. Its really bad in the states sometimes :)

  • Yep the bit that annoys me is the gender thing in names it suggests to identify a gender is somehow incorrect and I think it's exactly the opposite! I'd have to shhut my mouth in the states then :)

  • I object to you using the word "correctness". It ends with an "ess" which, as we all know, is feminine suffix.

  • Well Marc that's a touche comment if ever I saw one!! :)

  • Hey Marc,it got featured..yay! I'm training my lioness,in case us Nutters need her,do you mind? <3's 2 U xx

  • i agree with you. how have you been? Bernie.

  • Thanks Bernie,I've been well, hoping you guys are the same!
