i have a 04 hemi also and i have straight pipe on it also it goes from y pipe back to duals and even when i had my flowmasters on it the 5.7L is really quite but to get nice sound you can run just your resinator but i like my straight pipes but with no back pressure i havent had very good gas mileage

@4x42500hemi If anything it should help. Something to do with not using the power of the engine to force the exhaust through a muffler.

This truck has a Flowmaster Super 44 in it now. A lot quieter obviously but has a nicer tone

we have that same setup but for some reason it sounds a little different ours comes straight out the back, at idle it's kinda quiet and it has a low smooth growl but when you get on the gas it's loud n it's raspy it sounds really nice

i would go with a glasspack it will be a little quieter but has great sound you could get a high flow cat and would give a more pure tone it would make it less choppy and louder as well
