Coming out is a serious thing. Not everyone will like you afterwards. At first, I came out to my wife and parents and in laws, then much later my friends and other relative. But I discovered, after being officially out out for several years (10 to be exact), that people (your friends who previously rejected you) come around eventually, so you have to have a lot of strength, patients, and anticipate rejection because there's no way of avoiding it.
