you can customize the appearance of your finder by using a program like magnifique (not able to be used on snow leopard yet) then you just dowload/choose the themes you want for your mac

Here's one you could use: DockSpaces. You can have more than one dock that you can switch so there isn't so much clutter (like what Spaces does for your windows.)

hey lev, so i downloaded Magnifique and i downloaded the black Mac OSX theme and wehn i restarted my mac it had only the apps like ichat, safari, and ect. black! but only my menu bar didnt become black as the rest!?

Yeah man, i know what the problem is!

When you press apply the theme you have to check all the boxes and then restart! 10x for the Vids.
