as in the last words from Steve Jobs....oh wow, oh wow, oh wow...incredible captivating music that makes you wonder where the 4 and half minutes went. And Jon never even looks at his guitar when playing...
like someone speaks to you in your mother tongue for the first time in your life and you understand everything perfectly clear, the binding force of the universe revealed, the theory of everything explained clear as a cold November morning after a windy night… But then the elegant emptiness of this singularity paralyses you, if this is the ultimate truth, arggh, now what, there is it nothing to hope for left, and then you say to you OK, it hurts but is so brilliant and impossibly beautiful,..
@crippen86 your probably right becuase if theyw ere mainstream there might be a possible chance they sell out and lame ass poser pansies would be lining up at hot topic to buy their t shirts. keep this diamond in the rough.
I like the feeling you get when you take someone special, sit them down on the ground with a stereo between you, and you put in Sigur Ros. And you just look at them and you can see everything that the song represents. Truly moving and emotional.
@thompson8305 In a way it's good that it's not mainstream. It makes it special to the people who listen to it. No such thing as music being over-rated in an under-rated genre!
For some reason i think these guys know the answer to life, they know the key to peace. This song gives me hope, i think there is something best to come.
I'm an enormous fan of these guys. Never get tired of listening to their music. It's the only music I can stand before an oral exam, it makes me relax. Go on making this fabulous music, guys!
É perfeita sim... Mas a letra não é o mais importante, mas sim a mensagem que a música em si, passa... Algo que arrepia, un tanto triste e melancólico, mas esplendorosamento belo... Saudações do outro lado do oceano!
@Frisou277 I know exactly how you feel. The words and the music are so full of emotion, it makes you think of memories, what you loved, what you want, what is gone.
ive actually noticed that a lot as well, but then listening to the albums i have i noticed that there is actually some semelance of language in this babbling, its sort of like lines of discernable words that are put in patterns but obviously they are not always recited to the letter,im more of afan of the music anyway its truly great
i think i like the moustache...it adds a lil more of ,of maturity into his look and his presence i think i like it a lot...damn i m 26 and i cant even grow moustache...lol...so i agree with lambofrock
I love this song. It's gorgeous, beautiful and full of emotion. I like the original version with the violin bow being used, but Sigur Ros performing it this way shows how this song is very original and exceptionally written both with the instruments, vocals, and lyrics.
As for the guy who didn't like it, try telling Gilmour that the only "Marooned" or "High Hopes" version is the original. The live versions of those songs are better than the original.
Yeah; i'm talking in the context of musicians performing a song they wrote. Can you do better than them? If not (and i think you can't) than you don't have the qualifications to have such an opinion.

Oh WOW! i really like Sigur Ros. I just fond out about them and I am really enjoying them. thanks SO much for sharing this live performance. cheers =)
Freaking spectacular song, but isn't it pronounced si-UR Rós, not Si-Gur Rós( which is the way the reporter said it)
