I've never heard anyone this side of the pond either do it, ........one of the songs I learned when immersed in the great man's songs , but somehow got lost.....be a host of folk pickin' it up now they've heard your version Brian....good stuff.

Another excellent rendition to a classic GL tune. Thank you so much Brian for sending your versions over the web for us! You make them sound so eloquent all your own I've found myself immersed in them all, just like Gord's versions. I've seen current concert clips on YTube of Gord his voice is stronger than a year and a half ago, still going strong and not stopping thank heaven. One day he will be in town, you'll see!

I had the privilege last night of seeing Gordie in concert. Although his vocals have diminished over the past few years, his passion for music has not. It was good to see the 'Master' working his magic on stage. Gord still has a few new surprises up his sleeve.

When I listen to your incredible covers, it's like listening to Gord when he was in his prime.....another impressive cover Brian...keep 'em comin'.

Lightfoot is my favorite singer, and I am very cirtiical of covers, but I swear to God it's as though the voice that he once had and has now largely left him (I saw him live about a year and half ago) has been transferred into your body. However you do it, thank God it can be done and you're able to give us this music. It truly is remarkable, for from his tone to his intonations and accents, your versions are virtually indistinguishable from the originals.
