  • this and the scene where will's dad bails on him for the second time are my two favorite scenes from this show.

  • This scene earned Uncle Phil my eternal love.

  • "By any means neccesary". That line is totally false. Period. With a dot.

  • @lupischuckle well they offered for the old viv to come back but she didnt want to come back!

  • @hayane1994 fur elise

  • I wonder what people would say if a sitcom had a teenager with Hitler as a poster in his room.

  • @Nationalist1912 ... And how is Hitler ANYTHING like Malcom X?

  • @ManOfBamboo when you learn who Malcolm X and Adolf Hitler is then we will have this discussion.

  • @Nationalist1912 I could say the exact same thing to you; what kind of foolishly uneducated moron compares Adolf Hitler to Malcom X, and actually attempts to put them both into the same historical league? I love how a black man that was not afraid of upsetting whites during his approach to American racism is deemed "evil" in the eyes of whites today. Not every Civil Rights leader held the pacifist views that MLK held. Go to school kid, you need plenty of it.

  • @ManOfBamboo Try reading some of his quotes to realize who he was. Hitler was an extremist in the same manner that Malcolm X was. Only Hitler gained more power than Malcolm X could have ever dreamed of. However both were extreme, both served the culture of their races, both believed in the betterment of their people. Hitler is only deemed as evil because Jews run the media/finance. Which is why we hear of the Holocaust 24/7 but never the Holodomor. Malcolm X had the mens rea of Hitler.

  • @Nationalist1912 Try reading some of his quotes to discover whom he was? Are you being entirely serious or kidding? Malcom X, unlike Adolf Hitler, was not a racist; quite the contrary in fact. He was simply pro-black, something that a lot of whites could not figure out without making accusations of racism --- because, God forbid, an able-minded, strong black man couldn't possibly be non-hateful towards whites. He never preached white inferiority the way Hitler preached white superiority. (cont.

  • @ManOfBamboo Also, he never preached white inferiority because it doesn't exist. White superiority on the other hand dominates the world. It's the reason whites are in control. Our only inferiority is our kind nature in my opinion.

  • @Nationalist1912 Oh jeez, I'm coversing with a white supremacist... I mean, is there even any point in me trying to have an intellectual, logical debate with a guy that is probably racist?

  • @ManOfBamboo Well I do admit I am a white supremacist but not at the expense of other races like many skinheads like to portray. I am against the silent genocide taking place against whites in the world today. But my answer to that is not to hurt or colonize other races. My answer is conservatism and isolationism. All races have their ups and downs. But how would you define racist?

  • @Nationalist1912 "Silent genocide" currently transpiring against whites? Really? And you think that the Holocaust was a "hoax"? I give up... could you at least explain to me how and why the Holocaust was a hoax, in your eyes?

  • @ManOfBamboo well like 9/11 for example. The Holocaust was a way to justify the war. The Allies couldn't possibly say Hitler had made Germany the world power and thus had to be destroyed to retain Anglo world power. So they made a war time hoax like the Holocaust to justify the millions of dead soldiers. The bigger the war, the bigger the reason has to be to enter into it. Look at the percentage of whites in each white country now and ten years ago. You can't say a silent genocide isn't present.

  • @Nationalist1912 Wow. You previously stated that whites dominate the world and own everything, and now you are saying that a white genocide is present? Really??? If the world is truly dominated and owned by whites like you said, then why would a silent white genocide be transpiring right under everybody's noses across the world? Why wouldn't the "whites in power" put an end to what you are alluding to??? Oh, and by the way, your "fake Holocaust" theory still stuns the hell out of me...

  • @ManOfBamboo Because sadly there is an element here you're forgetting, the eternal Jew. That is why a silent genocide is going on. They have corrupted the system and achieved key positions in America from where they wield power. They do this by undercover methods such as freemasonry organizations, etc. Look up Jews in American politics. Or Jews in Hollywood. Or Jews in American banking or the FR. Whites do dominate the world but unfortunately Jews have achieved corrupt-success in our societies.

  • @Nationalist1912 But if whites dominated the entire world like you said, then why would they allow something like that to happen? I know all about the theory that Jews own/run the media (and perhaps even the oil) and are an authority in (American) politics, but to call an event such as the Holocaust a "hoax" is sickening to me. And you still won't answer my question. White genocide cannot be taking place because, as you so vaguely put it, whites own the world...

  • @ManOfBamboo They do culturally and they are the most successful people in the world. Compare white countries to other countries. But when Jews achieve such success in a world power they will target their main enemy ( whites) and pursue their own interests. It's not a theory, it's documented fact. If you look at anything anti-white or anti-morale. It comes from a Jew. All the movements from feminism to gay rights to mass immigration from the third world was spearheaded by Jews. Inbox me.

  • @Nationalist1912 (cont.) Malcolm X acknowledged the European DNA in his family in spite of what he stood for, and later in his life, reverted to more peaceful views. He also never murdered anybody, even though the opportunity probably presented itself on more than one occasion. You are comparing a man that was simply pro-black to a man that was undoubtedly anti-everything not white. Both were extreme, had power, and believed in their races --- but that is where the similarities fiercely end.

  • @ManOfBamboo Malcolm X advocated for violence in an extreme manner. He insulted recently killed people because of their race. He made remark after remark against white people when his real enemy was the Jew as he later admitted to through his antisemitism. Hitler never killed anyone either. His revolution was brought by a democratic election. My point is, Malcolm X on national television is an anti-white symbol. It's offensive to whites.

  • @Nationalist1912 Malcolm X regrettably condoned violence against whites out of desire to finally retaliate against the abuse inflicted upon his people BY whites, Adolf Hitler coldly and legitimately murdered over six million innocent Jews for being alive. Comparison of these two men is disastrously inaccurate and unfair. Malcolm BEING on television is offensive to whites? Why, because he was an able-minded, proud, smart black man that was intolerant and opposing of white supremacy? *rolls eyes*

  • @ManOfBamboo I am not arguing his reasons for condoning violence. He still CONDONED it. Which is why he is overshadowed by MLK. Adolf Hitler did no such thing. That is a war time hoax. Please look into it and realize the Holohoax was nothing more than 9/11, a justification for war. Malcolm X is one of my personal heroes if you must know. I have nothing against him. But to glorify him on national television is a bit offensive considering his extreme racism.

  • @Nationalist1912 Malcolm X was NOT a racist because he never advocated/condoned/preached ACTUAL racism. Sure, he made his frustration with white racists, similar to the ones that murdered his father when he was a young boy; but he NEVER advertised white inferiority or claimed that whites all deserve to die --- he was known as a reactor to racist actions. And for to say that you think that he is an extreme racist WHILE admitting that he is a personal hero of yours is mind-boggling to me...

  • i like how there are no dislikes

  • malcom x was a racist

  • @7THUNDERSTRUCK7 you obviously don't know shit about Malcom X. He wasn't a racist, just a realist.

  • @whayes8084 he was racist against whites MLK wasnt because he let white people march with him and Malcom X didnt because he hated them

  • @7THUNDERSTRUCK7 That was before he made his pilgrimage to Mecca. When he made that trip, he saw all different ethnicities living together in harmony and it completely changed his prespective. That's when he stopped his disgust towards whites and he then believed that whites and blacks could live around each other in peace. Why do you think the Nation Of Islam killed him?

  • @whayes8084

He was racist until after his jail stay when he then became a wise hero.

  • i think uncle phill felt more proud of will than carlton

  • @elpoblanito1995 he actually said in the series that Will was the only one of his children that he never worried about succeeding

  • The last few minutes of this episodes altered my life.

  • What a show...this is what the 90s were all about.

  • I heard the brother speak!!!!!!!!!! So shut up and get that chip off your shoulder

  • I don't think any TV show I've ever seen was as capable of reaching beyond itself as the Fresh Prince. Light-hearted and funny as all Hell most of the time, but occasionally touching beyond belief. James Avery deserves an unbelievable amount of credit for his efforts, as does Will Smith.

  • @Pineappolis I think I couldn't agree more.

  • Someone should tell me what notes he is playing for the "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen" Cuz I've tried googling...

  • whats the piano piece at the end called

  • @zhalil14 awww really don't they teach you about classical music in school i remember learning all about it in the 5th it's Beethoven - Fur Elise

  • @zhalil14 That was called Beethovens Fur Elise :D hope that helps ;3

  • I remember bawling my eyes out the first time I saw Will playing Fur Elise! What I love about it is he's not playing it perfectly, there are hesitations; makes it all the more real and beautiful. :)

  • OMG Soo cool to see this scene again.. Old skool and memories.. Really..

  • The song Will is playing at the beginning of this clip is 'Nobody knows the trouble I've seen', a spiritual.

  • Is this ~R34LLy~ the pilot?!

I was just watching some TvTropolis (here in Canada) which, FAAAR from yesterday's episode, rescinded back to the original mothers' actress (lol, she "turned milato" and shrunk as far as the in-show-family knows with the later seasons!) XD

The kitchen shrunk, its width is thinner than its depth! (opposite its latter design), all rooms are wooden & smaller & squarish, the windows' blinds are closed and OBVIOUSLY obscuring a couple of stagelights, Ashley's TINY, etc.

  • Thanks for posting this, been lookin for it for ages!

  • @Beantheredonedat they have the dvds out now

  • I really like this scene. "Before you criticize somebody, you find out what they all about", Uncle phil had those words slapped right back at his face at the end.

  • @axlrotten1985 I think you missed the point of the scene. His uncle realized he was wrong for it and was happy because he was proven wrong.

  • @axlrotten1985 what happend in the end?

  • correct me if i"m wrong, but that's Beethoven, Plus that song at the beginning is "Nobody Knows The Trouble I've Seen."

  • yeah. beethoens Fur Elise

  • he is playng that

  • what song is he playing in the end?

  • fur elise- mozart

the point was that the lecturer got taught his own lesson

  • Actually, Fur Elise is by Beethoven!

  • End of the scene with Will playin the piano is deep, and it looks like he's actually playing it himself. Makes it that much better

  • This is my favorite scene
