As far as the video goes I don't like to form opinions about people and there "obvious skills" because of Visual reasons. Video has done a lot of damage, in my opinion, to real quality music.

Nothing like promoting looks like they do now over talent.

Man these guys and the 80's were the shit, the bands back then could chew up and spit out the pussy bands out today. Think about what great stuff was out then Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Def Leppard, Dio, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest the list goes on and on. Bands like this were blazing new trails doing stuff that hadn't been done before and doing it well today... not so much. The thing I hate the most all that constant gutteral screaming shit.

Of course, that was at a time ('94) when Grunge was at its height with Nirvana, Sound Garden, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam. Not saying that I loved Grunge or anything, just that Grunge killed off the '80s rock scene. But I remember in HS, you couldn't hardly walk the halls without seeing a TESLA T-shirt.
