I always liked how blake's lyrics could be about depressing things but not sound pretentious and whiny. If i had a nickel for every line of self pitying garbage i've ever heard from other bands, i'd have way too much money..
This song reminds me of "Why Bother" by Weezer, just less poppy. When I first heard this I thought that maybe someone covered this song but when I realized what other song I was thinking about I realized the lyrics are completely different.
I miss the Flannel and Beanie punk sceene, a friday nght show in pittsburgh where everyone dressed like a nirvana video before hot topics and 24 hour hair dye existed.
Honestly Jawbreaker help build a less agressive punk sceene, along with screeching weasel, fugazi, followed up by bands like lagwagon. Without the bands like Jawbreaker my Record shelf would be virtually empty or filled by trash i was forced to accept in its place.
Jawbreaker was criminally underappreciated! I recommend the forgetters. It's Blake's new band. They're definitely his best post-Jawbreaker project. I say it sounds like a grown up Jawbreaker.
Well I know what I said sounds sort of cliche of an underground music fan, but I do feel like it becomes important if they become some huge label's bitch.
Still I could never see that with Jawbreaker anyway.
Jawbreaker would have made the record label their bitch! If only they could have lasted long to bring their message of taking action to my generation. Oh well i guess it's up to me to save my generation!

Best time I seen Jawbreaker was about 93 or 94 in Lakeside, Ca. in a park in the late morning or early afternoon. It was amazing!

@nerfthegop I had a dream once that everyone shut the fuck up and stopped criticizing fashion trends. I miss that time.

Again... awesome.
There should really be more Jawbreaker fans out there. I am shocked I am the first comment. Ugh... what a disgrace.

I know it sucks. At least they never went huge and mainstream though.

Is it important if a band is famous or not?
