  • You could call these Twice Baked Potato Boats or just Potato Boats!!!

  • mmmmmm... :D

  • Nice one Big Marn

  • i just made these the only things I did different, I cut open the potatoes before baking, placed them down on a sprayed baking sheet covered it with foil and baked at 400 degrees for 30 mins. so it's like a roasted baked potato. I added the pineapple but instead of ham I did use bacon, also I mixed in some shredded cheese dash of salt and pepper. They came out really good. Thanks for the recipe.

  • What happened to the other 3 halves?

  • oh yeah this looks great /!!

  • they look so nice! i guess they're like a different version of jacket potatoes right?

will try this next time instead, as i fail at making jacket potatoes. :)

  • excelent stuff mate , am off to the kitchen strait away , jum jum , thanks for the movie , keep up the good work

  • Hi. This look really good. If we use bacon, do we add it in the mashed potatoes cooked or uncooked? Thanks!

  • @sweetnnazty8 I'd recommend frying the bacon first if you want it crispy, but it's not necessary to cook the bacon first, as it will cook in the oven ;)

  • also try sliced roasted turkey

    or fried mushrooms

  • I m sooooooo hungry!!! :)

    kisses from portugal

  • yep guess what i'm doning for tea tonight.bet they taste delicious.cant wait.

  • I'm sure you just used your hands while cutting in half for simplicity durring the show, but I wanted to mention a tip on it anyway. :D

To remove the inner potato: Hold the potato half with a clean oven mitt or kitchen towel. Use an ice cream scoop to scoop out desired amount of the potato.

I also use the ice cream scoop for removing hard boiled eggs from hot water (or the hot pan). The scoop (mine anyway) is the exact size of the egg.

Thanks for all your great shows!

  • You're great! I love all of your tutorials. They're easy to do, quick and price friendly. Absolutely fantastic! Keep up the good work, Chef David. :)
