STELLA came from nowhere. She was the kind of woman who should date some CEO. Very proud, disagreeable woman, whose innocent smile hid a need to govern weak men. ROBIN was made for Barney, so the couple Robin&Ted looked weird and unnatural. ZOEY made me sick by being so aggressive and challenging. As Ted stated, no one likes being challenged. VICTORIA was the only one who would tolerate and actually like how Ted used to show off his knowledge of everything. She was natural, she rode the wave.

@andydidyouhear Stella was cool and fit in brilliantly, but she was in love with her ex. Robin and Ted were sweet together, but they were incompatible and better as friends (and no, she was not made for Barney, they just happened to work perfectly). Zoey was terrible for Ted, their whole relationship was based on attraction, not friendship or love. Victoria was wonderful, but her and Ted's timing was unfortunately off.

that episode was hilarious, not at the end though :/ but the things that the ex thinks at ones wedding made me roll out of my chair: "Suck it bitch, I win" is what Stella's saying in Robin;s mind : D

Pfft. Main speculation is that it's the girl Ted bumps into in OK nightclub in the episode 'No Tommorow' - at the end of which he finds her yellow umbrella, which he then leaves at Cindy's apartment - while the 'mother' is in the shower. Personally i feel that the show would benefit from the mother being an actress with a largely unrecognised CV..although obviously that means the character is at risk of being played badly. For anyone wondering, it's definitely not Robin.

i think theyr just gonna drag out the story until the show gets cancelled or they decide to end it

and THEN theyll decide who teds kids mother is

id like to think its robin, but since in the very first episode he says "and thats how i met ur aunt robin" i doubt it...

but who knows, right?

sorry to disappoint you, but I had to find out that they did with himym what they did with many good shows in germany... They f**ked up the voices, the timing, the jokes... nearly everything that made himym funny :(

ha ha you don't say! I'm swiss, so i can witness shows being butchered in their german AND french incarnations. Really no other way to watch these than in english, with jokes, and actors' voices intact. I'd say the simpsons strangely remain acceptable in french, but that would be it.

@thedragon133 agreed. I'm learning french, and i watch most of my tv shows with french subtitles. most of what is being said is not linguistically correct, which takes from the comedy.

@thedragon133 at first, when i started to watch himym in german tv, i didn't like the show at all... the sync into german is just not good for shows like this, with a lot of funny phrases that you CAN translate into german... but the joke never comes out for someone not knowing every little detail about america.

now i found them in english in the web and gotta say: my favorite tv-show ;)
