  • The dramatic strings in this remind me so much of John William's Memoirs of a Geisha score. So beautiful

  • This song is my fav song, not only from Kate's songs but over any other I have listened so far. I love THE FOG, what a piece of art, it gives me goosebumps/chills all over. LOVE YOU KATE!

  • I love the part when the strings just open up and engulf you. I sometimes listen to this song again and again.

  • @1860george Actually "The Man with the Child in his Eyes" was written around 1971, when she was only thirteen, and recorded in 1975, but released in 1978, just to put the record straight.

  • Remember the sea is the soul. this is 'Aerial' mark one. Is it possible to feel more love than this?

  • I'm learning violin. This is the first non-taught song I'll learn to play. That's a promise.

  • 2:46 onwards!

  • Give Kate 5 minutes of your time and she gives you back a sense of eternity. What a deal!

  • It's about trusting somebody when your not sure but love is telling you to follow your heart - like learning to swim for the first time, you won't drown.

  • @ArianaArmy9, it's about love transcending death:

Is this love big enough to watch over me?

Big enough to let go of me

  • @ArianaArmy9, and the male voice is of course her dad, or 'Dr. Bush' as he is credited.

  • @modifiedcontent You are quite correct.

  • This is the BEST Kate Bush song ever!!!! Could someone tell me exactly what the words mean?

I s this song related to the Man with the Child in his eyes?

  • Kate and the song are beautiful, that atmosphere! Italy loves you! We are waiting for a concert, perhaps in the Arena of Verona :-)

  • i get shivers down my spine whenever i listen to this....

  • i love the Asian scale of this and Dave Gilmour's collab

  • @NWforager Alan Murphy on this tune.

  • God I love this song, it's such a beautiful piece of music. She is simply amazing.

  • Starting to realise The Sensual World was an under-rated album. Mostly, it stands up well, and this is exquisite. We think we wait too long for Kate to release music... yet, she's still often waiting for the public's appreciation to catch up with her.

  • My favourite song EVER!

  • The Sensual World is such a beautiful album, full of emotions and thoughtfulness (if that's a real word). I've begin to love it even more now, when becoming a few years older. I've been a fan since I was 15, The Sensual World have never sounded so "real" and it's easier to relate to the lyrics. Anyway.... everything she's done is BRILLIANT. Amazing. Genius. ART.

  • its nice i like the bush lady she sings and dances and i like

  • Un album sublime.

Fan de Kate depuis le début. Encore et encore!

    Never for ever and ever<3

  • Un album tellement beau !!!

  • This song embodies my melancholy and lost love, Makes me cry which helps.

  • Cam across this little gem after 20 years. Stunning.....

  • @kbaughan1 Kates music has been with me for over thirty years now covering my adult life. You can look into her work and find meaning for all of lifes moods and turn of the dice. Hope she can come up with more magic to reflect the passing of time and reflections of life we can all relate to.Talented is not even close to describing kate and her music.

  • @snowmansid Like you, she is a soundtrack of my life. Perhaps THE soundtrack of my life. No one comes close. This song embodies everything I admire about her: lyrics, musicianship, melody, arrangement . . . and love. No other artist makes you feel the kind of love she makes you feel. Slainte.

  • @snowmansid so very true! every single word you have written jere, so true for me too!

  • @snowmansid I think some dreams come true, Mr Snowman. One year later you've got beautiful Misty and 50WFS :)

  • Alan Murphy on guitar....genius! R.I.P.

  • This song is big enough to break your heart.

  • @Queenofthebifauxnen.Every time I listen to this song I'm moved to tears.Kate's music is a torrent of emotions.

  • @Katefanforever One of my 3 favorite Kate songs of all time. And I know them all.

  • @triplettam.And the two other songs are...

  • @Katefanforever Good for you. Don't take anyone's word for anything. Quick, too. There is not a "TOP 3." Sorry, but you made me think about it, and I cannot come up with an answer. There is no "Top 3," there is only Kate.

  • @triplettam Waking the Witch, Leave it Open and Under the Ivy are my 3

  • @tonyttt31 All good choices. Let's face it, she never recorded a bad song. "Heads We Dance;" "Cloudbusting;" There's a great live version of "James and the Cold Gun" here that I highly recommend. "Army Dreamers." Ah, like I said; it's near impossible for me to pick 3.

  • Just put your feet down child,

'Cause you're all grown up now."

    I love that line :)

  • awsome song
