This type of music didn't kill metal because a) it IS metal, and B) metal never died. The only people who think that would be Americans, where the trend-huggers cut and run when Nirvana had their break and where today's bands have been ripping off At The Gates for ten years and call that development. Check out the European scene instead, that's where it's REALLY happening. The fact that nobody here gives a flying fuck about the likes of Killswitch Engage and As I Lay Dying is an added bonus.

I love the argument.....all i'm gonna say is if you don't like it dont listen!!! There is no written "rule" that metal has to be about satan or shit like that. if thats the case, why do people consider Zeppelin metal and not glam? Why is Alice Cooper considered metal? Same thing with bands like Yardbirds, and even Steppenwolf. There are over 15-20 different subgenres for metal, you can be heavy and loud and still be on the glam side or pop side to be considered metal my friends....

Bach didn't join the band until 1987...this song high in high school came out in 1984. The 1st singer was Brett Kaiser. He left the band when a family member died.
