  • I am a firm believer in everything that you've said here. Far too many people believe that they can just treat their (non)significant other at the end of the relationship like trash and discard them easily and think that it doesn't matter. It does. Karma exists and it will come back around to you in some form. Good topic, Elsa. :)

  • What if you started a relationship on the right foot, were respectful and tried your hardest to help you and your spouse work out any issues y'all had yet nothing worked? I think if you try hard to build a good relationship yet your spouse is mean, jaded stubborn & unfriendly you don't need to break up in a friendly manner.show your spouse that you only get what you give so perhaps he/she will be kinder to the next person they date.

  • "Myths and realities: Leaving can be dangerous. The most dangerous time for a woman who is being abused is when she tries to leave. If your partner has threatened to kill you or your children, you will think very carefully before you put yourself or your family at greater risk by breaking up in person." The Coalition To End Family Violence.

  • Yes...I agree. I don't think I'm coming back to this place after this because I can recognize my Karma usually immediately after the fact. My last relationship was similar to a previous one in which I was the player and this time I got played...I learned my lesson...he hasn't, he's on to his next victim, sucks for him...lol...
