I have to agree a few notable's were left out... Dave Chapelle beats Red Foxx hands down. He would be number 2 or 3 on my list. Aries Spears is great impressionists... respect is deserved... the ones you listed get the most press... but I have seen some not so well-knowns get more laughs in the clubs. Talent comes to mind....

Yes we all are entitled to whom we feel is the top comedians however I have a problem with two things. 1st of all if it was'nt for Richard P. none of these cats would'nt be where they are at now. 2nd Chris T. Has'nt really set a high standard in his stand-up after Def Comedy Jam what else has he talked about in his stand-up other than being friends with the King of Pop. Some of you need to research your history of stand-up comedians and find out what stand-up comedy is really about.
