Thanks for the tribute. I had the pleasure of knowing this great mare while working on Claiborne Farm. I also handled her daughter, My Flag and grand daughter, the amazing Storm Flag Flying. I was lucky enough to be there to take Personal to be with "the girls" when she was retired from broodmare duties in 2007.
NO ONE ever crossed the finish line in front of Personal Ensign!
Beautiful! I never cease to be impressed by your talent.That BC was one of the best races of all time and she was one of the very best.That year was very simular to this year except our girl didn't get to prove herself..R.I.P. Personal Ensign..I will never forget you or your great rival Winning Colors...Oh, the memories..
