I'm sorry for being against most of the people I've read here, but saying that both singers don't add anything to the song is ridiculous. Any person in this world with some music education (I'm a Latin musician) will recognize their great voices and excellent interpretation. They are just different from Rob Thomas, who is also great (for different reasons). Comparing among different great artists is a big mistake... JUST ENJOY THEM ALL!!!

Rob has written for Mick Jagger, Seal, Mark Anthony, Mary J Bilge,Willie Nelson etc. He is married and not gay. Read the other comments here, Rob singing "Smooth" is classic. Rob is also in The Song Writers Hall of Fame. Rob performed for a crowd of 45,000 people in Chicago yesterday. What have you done?
