Lupe Fiasco doesn't OWN the instrumental as he is NOT a producer, he is an ARTIST, MC's don't produce records, they rap on them. And if you're not familiar with the term PRODUCTION, it's the musical term used for the INSTRUMENT component of a song..so if anything, Lupe is has nothing to do with this at all..as I did not use HIS lyrics, voice OR profited.

I did these for promo to make a name for myself years ago and uploaded them freely to share.....if you notice the quality is beyond terrible and degrading and it is NOT original material. There's no such thing as a "YouTube Star" or celebrity..and fame does not equate to a career or money so it would be wise not to judge off of what you see from social media, especially YouTube. It takes close to a decade before an artist see's his first royalty check It takes money (thousands) to make money esp. music.

I know as a rapper you want to force the listener to think..but I think your lyrics may make the listener think too much at times. If someones stuck trying to figure out what you say in one bar he's not gonna be able to focus on the following bars. Thanks for the comment but....... I AM "me". Lupe's 'flow' isn't my flow..... read the description and you'll understand WHY I INTENTIONALLY sampled his flow in regard to this particular song only. It was in respects to him for this track and to help find my niche by experimenting with a diverse range of flows from established artists. After all this is a REMIX to his single "Hip Hop Saved My Life", people usually only use DIFFERENT flows if it's a 'freestyle' borrowing a beat for mixtapes.

I did that purposely (read description). It was in respects to Lupe, the originator of this song and to challenge myself to go above and beyond by intentionally making each vowel sound in each syllable mimic the original in sequence ON beat while having completely different context AND lyrics. I thought it was more creative in that sense...otherwise it would have been a common freestyle to another beat.  But that's the SOLE reason I chose to RE-MIX on this particular instrumental.
