  • OMG! this is the longest cooking video I've ever watched. Actually I was so tired watching it. I was even telling myself, that can you just finished it already! It was so boring.... Next time just skip the how to cut the meat cuz everybody knows how to cut meat okay! TC!

  • So much work...

    But worth it :D

  • Ahh yes. I tried this at a restaurant once and LOVED the spices. Personally, I would rather use broiled chicken but thank you so much for the video. -_- helped me a lot.

  • emmmmm.....LEG! LOL

  • i'm pretty sure you're suppose to put whole chicken in the boiling water instead of beef when you're extracting the flavor from the meat.

  • im going to go pho myself now

  • i think he has to roast the bones 1st, or blanch with hot water to wash away the blood and stuff so the soup can turn out clear and not cloudy

  • i think this is all wrong, bcoz Pho doesn't go with lemon grass... looks more like Bun Bo Hue to me...

  • plss can you post all the ingredients... i cant hear all the ingredients i really want to make this soup! plzzzzz :D

  • I can't really hear all the recipe. Can you post the ingredients? Sounds delis.....

  • I made this recipe today and it turned out FABULOUS!! I had everything I needed except, i totally forgot the fish sauce! I didn't feel like going back out for it so I made it without and it was still delicious! Thank you so much for posting this recipe! :o)

  • yummy ;p i will definitely try it ;]

  • That looks delish! I can't wait to give it a try :) Thanks!

  • Drools*** =]

  • this is awesome , deff a long process but well worth the wait !!!

  • If you leave out the MSG wouldn't that cut back significantly on the umami of the dish?

  • @kritikalmass7 - Great question. Traditionally, MSG have been used in Pho recipes for many years and by removing the MSG; in my opinion does change the flavor profile of umami. Many have substitute the MSG with additional sugar; however, I just add additional fish sauce and salt when I cook Pho when not using MSG. The hoisin sauce that is added while eating is also sweet, and most tend to add way too much. Great Pho need to have a balance of Sweet and Salty, Umami.
