  • thumbs up for christen!!! Rawr!! :P

  • inspiring =]

  • I nearly cried watching this...

  • Does anyone know the piano song thats played at the second minute??

  • does anyone know the name of this piano song??

  • This is really something increadble...it showes, that also the dangerous animals can somehow love, and let the love put their instincts down...those two men have a done a great job in raising him..they gave him love and cared for him like their own child, and the best of all is,they didn't think like most other people,in having him for themselves as a pet..they thought about him and what would be best for him,and that was to live a lion life in the wild..and they did everything to give that to him.

  • Just about 2 hours ago this documentary was on German TV and I only was able to watch the last 5min. So glad I found this on Youtube so I could watch the whole docu. What a touching story of an amazing lion and such good-hearted people!

  • anyone notice how they speak about him like a child? :D

  • Not putting anyone down but he had to of died by now it's been 50 years since his birth Saw something saying he died in 2009 but that's really old for a lion so I'm saying sometime in the 80's

  • I wonder how Christian died...

  • @Ailacake who said he died ? no one knowss

  • I watched the entire story and it's beautiful. My grown son watched it with me and he had tears in his eyes when he saw the reunion story - we both did. My entire family and I LOVE animals! God bless John and Ace for their love and courage and John Adamson for dedicating his life to the conservation of these beautiful and majestic creatures.

  • @ddhgirl You mean George Adamson!! I was 10 years his friend, until he was shot by

    poachers 1989!

  • I promised myself I wouldn't cry... Oh no...

  • The stroy of how 2 men raising a small cub into a beautiful, intelligent, Lion is a truly blessing story....I admire Christian and Both John and Ace pride as a family....And they indeed did the right thing letting Christian into the wild.

  • Funny me and the lion both have the sames name

  • love christian

  • 4 bloody poachers disliked the video

  • this is the most amazjng and touching dtory that ive ever seen! -3

  • One of the most touching stories I have ever heard in my life. I'm definitely buying the book and other books or movies about George Adamson's works - love what the man did as a job, what an honourable and thrilling job.

  • the most real friends iv' ever seen in my life is this 2 men

to stay together from young age until old no word can describe that.

  • Wow. This is amazing. I watched the first part and had to watch it all. This story really touches me and I hope that when when Ace and John pass they see Christian again.

  • This is such a sweet story

  • this is the most beautiful, touching, endearing story I have ever come across. So many people are stressed and worried about the world we live in, and everyone should really watch this to bring back whats most important, love and friendship.

Thank you so much for sharing.

  • This is a truly beautiful story. Truly. How much respect they had for Christian and how much from him to his 'owners'. The first reunion makes me cry every time :) Makes me wonder about the whole, 'Do animals love?' debate (typed while my own, slightly lion-looking dog, sleeps across me, giving me the occasional gentle lick.. :) )

Thank you for sharing this immense story. I shall be showing this to my class tomorrow (and try to hold it together!!!).

  • cried watching this, really pulled at my heart strings! <3

  • @kunoy666666666 hahahahaha, right!

  • @kunoy666666666 Well, it was Hakuna Matata for Christian during his time in London. No worries.

  • such a wonderfull story, i am so touched deep in my heart... i was crying crocodile teras the first time i watched, and i still do!!!

  • Scarface no they weren't. Just best friends. In fact, those two girls that were in the previous videos were their girlfriends.

  • This is so so so so so so beautifull!

  • ace and john were gays...

  • When I have a son, Imma name him Christian. YES I SAID IT. And every time I say his name, I will be reminded of how much love there is in this world. And how a simple connection can stand the tests of time and last forever.

  • I recall being told this story in 1981-2 whilst having a meal on the Kings road Chelsie by Lady Edith Foxwell and Jack Walton-Wolfe ( I was Jacks driver and took his dogs out in the car for drives and walks on hamsted heath, they were called Harry and Ike.), someone at anther table shouted out to someone at the door, "Christian we are over here" and Lady Edith Foxwell ask Jack if he remembers Christian the Lion, I ask what they were doing with a lion in London, then i was told the full story.

  • I cried when he said "Thank you, Christian"

  • so tuching..

  • best documentary i've ever seen..

  • He's died retard

  • Long live christian the lion :)

  • At least these guys did the right thing; taking the lion were he belongs to the wild!!!

  • sooo fail, no care for the animals

  • @majcuch

    Huh?

  • u can advise against keeping wild pets, coz thats the fucking fashion

  • i have a feelin that was Christian in this video lol...i think he got lost or killed

  • Now there's Mufasa Then Simba Now Kiara~

  • wonder how christian is doing now.......T_T

  • A very wise lion.

Hes seen both human society and lion society.

I wonder how abnormal the world would seem going into the wilderness like that.

  • r.i.p. george adamson

  • i feel like a girl, here i am crying about the lion saying that he had all grown up and that they never saw him ever again.where ever christian is at i hope hes safe, either dead or still alive i hope had kids and teached them his ways when growing up so that all the lions he dealt with are all nice as him.poor boy,he was killed and was christians best friend.but i love you christian youll always be in my memory.

  • what happened to the other lion in harrods and is christian still in kora

  • seems the video two men and one cub... is a bit more interesting than two girls one cup!

  • IT'd be interesting to know how a lion educated essentially in the west integrated into Africa... did he change the way his own cubs are brought up?...after all when he was a cub he had a totally different lifestyle.... his upbringing forced him to be more cerebral...

and if he did...then are his own cubs doing the same now.. three or maybe four generations later?

  • AMAZING!!

  • one of thee most amazing stories i ever had the honour of knowing

  • What a beautiful love story, if only Christians love and loyalty with his human and animal family teach us to treat each other like that. Thank you Christian you are a beautiful creature...

  • great documentary

  • Such an incredible story, very touching.

It's nice to think that there may be decedents of Christian wandering around Africa right now.

  • This video is so touching I'm so glad I found this on Tumblr. I've watched this several times now and every time I watch this video it just brings me to tears and happines.

  • 3 People were eaten by Christian

  • lovely lion christian ............OMG it has been an interesting story with videos ..................now i got 2 now how effectionate r lions to us if we r close to them

  • So...is Christian still alive?

  • I love Christain.

  • "No, I've got lion things to do" :) I felt so proud of Christian when he said that. :)

  • true story, im so amaze

  • I tell my children this story, it's a big favorite & I can't wait until they're old enough to see the real story as shown.

One of the best post on YouTube.

  • @1rle u are a failure, thus u think ur entire species is,,,which is not the case

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • I really loved loved this story, After watching these 5 parts, it´s amazing, to see so much love. Is it just me or Christian had an special relationship with Ace? I really loved watching these two.

  • Love this whole story...fantastic and I am so happy that the humans knew the right thing to do..wonderful ...

  • How is it possible to dislike something like this?

How can u not think that this is really worthy, really something amazing??

The 3 people who disliked this never felt love...

  • Thank you very much for uploading this documentary. God bless you.

  • ..., hardest thing was to let him go, because if you really do love someone, you have to let them go and let them follow the path that best suits them.

Nearly cried, when Christian became independent to the point where he was strong enough to leave George's protection to never come back and had a pride of his own in the wild.

  • dislikes are fucking pussies thats what...

  • what a wonderful story.... ;') no word can ever express the beauty of love... i really adore John and Ace and also Christian for a wonderful friendship..;)

  • This brings tears to my eyes every single time I see it, I would have loved given the chance to have a lion or a tiger myself haha, but like them, I would have had to send it to a better place to live. It breaks my heats and gives my joy at the same time, I cry now as I write this hah,

  • 3 hater 3 bullets hahahahaaha jkjkjk lololol

  • Dear Ace &John ..........thank you for sharing this wonderful heartfelt story! May God be with all of you. May Christian's legacy live forever! We love you....

  • the most heart dropping story to date....

  • soo what happened to the other lion they were selling at harrods

  • @mxs703 hahahha

  • @mxs703 She was adopted too...and very spoiled and comfortable from what I understand. They wrote about it in their book.

  • True Love

  • Christian lives in our hearts! The circle of life, the lion king, Christian.

  • Thank you so much!! I saw the video in 2006 and because of that, I had to learn the whole story. Then again, in 2007, I had to watch more of Christian & the reunion. I watched it numerous times, and I cried every time. Today, a friend of a friend "liked' an upload on Facebook of part of the original clip & it brought back the memories I had a few years ago. I wanted that feeling again, so this show, had both the story and the reunion and more....!!! Loved it, and thank you so much for sharing!

  • @19two20 me too lol

  • One day soon The Lion of Judah will return to establish a new Earth. All living things possessing God's breath of life will be able to live in peace and yes...in love! We do possess the ability to do so. It is that part of us that God created in His Own Image. We were allowed to see a glimpse of this love in the examples of all of the people who cared for Christian. Even more profound,..Christian...the King of the Beasts who embraced love with love! Thank you for a glimpse of heaven on earth.

  • i had to cry.. it was so beautiful :)

  • i didnt think that this would make me cry but it succeeded.....my shirt is wet with my tears LOL

  • I'm sure I would pay double the money to get this experience! Ace and John did a really good thing here!

  • Such an amazing story. Remarkable for both lions and humans. Ace and John truly loved Christian and treated him with respect and in return they got his love and respect. In finding George Adamson they were able to offer him more than they alone could give him. They were wise in realizing this and i don't fault them for buying him in the first place (i shudder to think what would have happened to him if they didn't), they didn't hesitate when it came to doing what was best for Christian.

  • it's so touching.........the whole story is quite filled with much love and lost..........

  • Only 1 dislike...OMG?

    YouTube delete that dislike NOW!

  • @dadandkid

    Go kill yourself!

  • Is no one thinking if he hadn't been captivated in the first place they wouldn't have had to put him back into the wild and risk his life by not being prepared? No one is thinking that? Why are humans so selfish, seriously? We risk the life of an animal we claim to love to get that fuzzy wuzzy feeling? Sorry but captivation of wild animals is not cute.
