Actually none of the clips are sped up at all.... admittedly the clips are short and snappy, but it really all is at normal speed. That's what 120kts actually looks like... Oh and 0:48 isn't CGI either (before you suggest that). Believe it or not some things on video are actually real and not tampered with.

hey, this video is great but I remember that there was another one called "Gliding UK" or something. I'm looking for it because of it's soundtrack. It used several parts of this video I think, but there was the second part with flying in the clouds. That part had another piece of music. I cannot find it anywhere. It was like a bit of trance or house, with repetitive spoke vocal. Please help! Do you know the music or where can I find the video ???

As a glider pilot, great flying. With my airline career hat on, I flinch at quite a lot of the flying, watching safety margins reduced to near zero. Perhaps a bit like comparing motorbikes with a bus - great fun till it goes wrong.

sweet, i went as low as a fence one time in a LS-4 i nearle decapitated someone who was peeing. hahahah  when i got back on the ground after 200KM run. all the other pilots were whisteleing to my approach but the were scared that i would crash. i did it at 240kph it looked pretty nice.

Great video and I'm glad the music is back. I haven't flown Gliders for a few years but have a basic instructors rating and use to be a member at Kenley, Parham and Hus Bos. All great clubs. If you've never done it go and take a trial flight. Clubs are listed on the BGA web site for the UK.

The thing is that if given the choice of advertising the audio track in question the author of the video would have probably agreed. That way the music companies might actually drive revenue. However, it is YouTube's refusal to address false flagging where bots automatically demote and flag videos of authors who have controversial ideas that I find most offensive.

these are the age limits in my country (the Netherlands): Whenyou're 14 you are allowed to go solo, and when you're 16, you're allowed to get your GPL. cheap gliders are VERY hard to find, just become member of a gliding club, you can fly in their planes then!

Gliders are not equiped with IFR instrumments, so its very dangerous to fly in clouds. You dont have a clear sight on the other gliders.

Thats a matter of opinion. In the UK in cloud we maintain separation by talking to each other on the same frequency. It requires skill and concentration but its very satisfying, lots of fun and safe if it is done correctly.
