Did anyone notice that in the actual scene Castiel doesnt say "even to your brother?". He just says "you". and moves on? Nowwww why would they do that if Destial wasnt canon :P i mean they cut that part out. for what reasons exactly. sigh.

Cas really fell head over heels, didn't he. Already his superiors have decided that he's become emotionally compromised, too close to Dean (notice how he says Dean first and then has to add Sam). How many times has that happened to him in his long immortal life, do you think? Not to mention his "I would do anything". He is essentially saying he would do anything to keep Dean from suffering.
