I have to wonder if the F-35 actually is more maneuverable than the F-16. I mean, sure, the F-35's engine is HUGE, but the airframe of the F-16 is just so aerodynamic looking. It's like... Perfect...

@JManGuitar5150 the F-35 is heavy and underpowered with high wing loading, it's more like a stealthy F-105 than an F-16 replacement. I seriously doubt it'd be able to out-turn an F-16 or any other 4th gen fighter for that matter, maybe the designers think it won't ever need to get into a dogfight? I agree the F-16 is awesome looking though...
